DaedalusX64 Alpha Revision 432
Update: DaedalusX64 Alpha Revision 432. Just released.
DaedalusX64 Team have, yet again released another update to their popular N64 (Nintendo 64) emulator for PSP. Keep the updates coming guys! Whats new? A bunch of speed hacks/tweaks and improvements for various games as noted in the change log below.
DaedalusX64 Alpha Revision 432 changelog:
[!]Reverted most of the changes from Revs 305, 316, and 318 (Fixes a couple crashes, speed regressions, and Mario Head stuttering bug )
[+]Hash every third line of textures for updating (Faster Texture Update)
[+]Re-added Dynarec Loop Optimization (Works in as many titles as it used to, but still causes problems/freezes in some)
[+]Added Frame Skip 99 to debug build for testing
[+]Added more settings to Texture Update
[~]More comments will only show in Debug builds (Some messages still remain)Notes: GoldenEye No longer freezes on Runway or other levels, Mario Head no longer stutters without DD enabled. All speed regressions since 300 should be fixed now. Some reverted changes will be restored in future revs as speed/stability issues are worked out. This is a large commit and may have a few minor issues.

ultimakillz has a detailed tutorial on all models of the psp this is the bible of putting cfw on the psp I would suggest to all to read that tutorial it is the best that I have ever seen it is filled with all the info and has all the answers to every possible question with cfw for the psp..

first you need cfw in your psp
second you need to create folder in PSP/GAMES directory
third extract the zip in the folder that you created let like this PSP/GAMES/Nintendo 64
Fourth make sure that the EBOOT file is inside the folder Nintendo 64 like this PSP/Games/Nintendo 64/EBOOT
5/ place your games roms in the roms directory in the folder nintendo 64
that should work if not then there something wrong in your PSP

Hi there,
You will notice from Rev 431 onwards, there will be no game cover pictures in the resources folder, to save time downloading each revision, also less memory to store them on the server, so just copy and past from Rev 430’s resource folder to the latest Revision’s resource folder, also when trying a new revision, make sure to delete Rom.db & preferences.ini, & all .HLE files in the Savegames folder, that way you always start a fresh. (but remember deleting the .HLE’s means that when you run a game for the first time again, then it will take longer, to boot up the game, say between 6 – 20 sec’s, the second time it will be nearly instantly), there is a Low Battery option also in the Global settings menu, which should let you save a savestate before the power goes.
Next thing i would like to mention, is we have a Bug Tracker now on our forums, so if anyone from here, would like to help out testing the games for us, then come & register on the site, and store that information in our new compatibility list also mentioned a couple of posts below.on “Smoker1″’s post
Everyone is welcome, the more testers the better the emulator will become.
BTW…..i am also a tester on the DaedalusX64 emulator, here is the site address………..

wow to many releases
i think they should just stop making these revisions and just keep fixing wateva they have to like take 1 whole month to fix everythink all in 1 and call it n64 Ultimate or something since N64 is old and they should have just fixed everything all in 1 now instead of making these revision since they barly doing anythink besides fixing like 2-3 games!
what do u guys think?
September 27, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Actually R88ney revisions are always needed as they are fixing problems as they show up, because sometimes fixing one thing causes something else to break. thats why they have revisions and in a month or two the daedalus team should have beta 3 out which will have a 50% speed increase
you may think they’re barely doing anything but about 2 months ago super mario 64 was barly playable with sound and now its almost perfect. all you have to do is be patient

Agreed, let’s all be thankful that we are able to at least emulate some games given the conditions.
With the frequency of the REVs, there’s a good chance they will meet a final release.
