Medal of Honor Vita
Through the ages EA’s Medal of Honor has made it on to every console since its debut on the Orignal Playstation back in 1999.
Since then there has been four handheld releases, two for each GBA and PSP. The most recent of which being Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 being released in 2007 for the PSP and the Wii. The fact that Medal of Honor has so far appeared on evry console since its debut points to the possibility of the series making a welcome appearance on the PS Vita is quite high.
EA over the last few years have been clawing back some sales from Activision’s Call of Duty, however Activision still owns the FPS crown for the consoles with Call of Duty. Activision has shown that they will not give up this title easily by announcing that the Call of Duty franchise will indeed be taking to the PS Vita too in order to further push their FPS dominance.
Due to this I believe that EA will also push out a Medal of Honor FPS on the handheld in order to cause trouble for Activision’s prized cow.
I personally would welcome the stand off to the PS Vita,
we as customers couldn’t lose out. With the PS Vita providing us with new ways to interact with our gaming experiences, The Vita opens up new ways to interact wth full scale online multiplayer and opportunity for DLC anything is possible.
All eyes are looking at this years E3 with just over a month to wait, its all getting exciting.
