**FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL**
—————————————————————————————–
Be sure to already have custom firmware (CFW) installed already.
(I’m currently using Gen-A w/ 3001 model)
1. Download the “macrofire309.zip” (The download on this page) and extract it using Winrar or Winzip, etc..and place it anywhere except under your memory stick for now.
2. Create a folder named “SEPLUGINS’ in the root of your memory stick. (Where the picture, music, etc., files are located) Open up notepad and create the files: “game.txt, vsh.txt, (If you don’t already have them) and save them under SEPLUGINS. In the text files, place this line of code in each of them:
“ms0:/seplugins/macrofire.prx 1″
3. Now go to your macrofire files and copy & paste the following files to SEPLUGINS:
-macrofire.prx
-macrofire.ini
-”src” folder
-”remap sample” folder
(Then just trash the other files as they’re not needed)
4. Finally, reboot your PSP back into CFW and go to the recovery menu. Then enable the new plugins: “macrofire.prx [GAME]“, “macrofire.prx [VSH]“. Now either under the XMB or In-Game, press the – & + volume buttons together to boot Macrofire and… Ta Da! You now have Macrofire on your PSP!
**Extra Notes:
-PSX Games aren’t compatible with Macrofire, so it won’t work on them.

No problem. I had to make the guide from scratch since the dude’s readme.txt is like a whole different language, lol.

Ahhhhh i found something weird about this, well if you have Macrofire installed and Ultimate VSH Menu, go onto Macrofire (Push the – and + buttons) and then press the screenshot key (from your ultimate vsh menu), usaly the note key (the note key is the music note looking one) and watch what happens, and reminds me of whats happens when you use ChickHEN……. Maybe i found an exploit? not that it would have any use, that i know of. (oh and im running 5.00 m33-6)
September 23, 2009 at 8:20 am
Wow… I just tried it now, and it does look like ChickHEN, lol. Maybe this could become useful sometime. (Again, I’m running Gen-A and I’m pretty sure the glitch looks the same to us.)
