Dark_AleX has released LEDA .01, this is a Legacy Software Loader which allows 1.5 kernal to be loaded without having to be installed each time there is a new version of M33. Very handy, it even works on PSP Slim units! Since this is a beta, at the moment its not compatible with all 1.5 kernel homebrews out there. But compatibility is being worked on.

I didn’t understand the part about “installing 1.5 kernel on your new firmware”. Is this article saying that you must reinstall time machine every time a new firmware version comes out? I apologize for my ignorance, but I am very new to this.

Yes. Each Time Machine add-on must be updated after every time you update your firmware.

Also, I was under the impression that 1.5 kernel “add-on” was what made M33 CFW.

Incorrect. the 1.5 kernel is what allows a PHAT PSP to run unsigned code as opposed to 5.0 and the like which only allows partial access. Meaning – homebrew apps have the capability to run as if it were made and released by Sony or an official Third-Party game developer. In short, 1.5 equals better (homebrew) apps.

If I have Time Machine installed on my 5.00-M33 PSP Slim, would it be possible for me to put my memory card and pandora battery in a friend’s PSP Slim and boot into 1.50 to install 4.00m33 to the flash? I apologize if that is not clear.
