Guys! The Scene is booming now more than ever!  is rocking the PSP scene, now with -2 with PSP 3000 Support.  NO PSPgo Support!

Update: He released a new version with Recovery Menu! (Take a look down!)

Developers notes:

– What is this? —
This is installer for OFW6.39.
Only work on 01g ,02g , 03g, 04g, 07g and 09g model.
05g (GO)is not supported.

The degree of stability is still unknown.
Please test it on your own and refer to different people’s test reports.

– How to use –
Copy “installer” folder and “launcher” folder at “ms0:/PSP/GAME/”

– Preparation –
First. You need to install LCFW modules in your PSP.

1.Execute “639 installer” from .
2.You can select these action:
Press x to install LCFW.
Press [] to uninstall LCFW.
Press R to exit.

After the action, PSP will rboot.

– Start LCFW –
1.Execute “639 launcher” from XMB.
2. enjoy :)

– How to enter RecoveryMenu? –
From LCFW:Execute “639 launcher” again.
From OFW :Execute “639 launcher” with hold “R”.

    he’s the new best hacker to psp scene, and is even a bit better then dax
    because his cfw are even able from loading ofw with the home button and because
    neur0n made much more hacks (kxploit) some hen then dax did, i don’t even know if dax ever made
    a kxploit based hack (hen)
    btw. neur0n keep up the good job :D

        No its not SoraJr.. You have the permanent one for your 2000. This is the LIGHT Custom Firmware.

    I just want to make sure everything will be ok. I have a 3000 series on 5.03 Prometheus-3. 5.03 hacks have served me well but I’m considering the upgrade. I want to make sure that I can just upgrade to 6.39 and use this. Any help is appreciated.

      I honestly would just update to 6.20 and use Pro B6 since it has a permanent patch for it.

    CAN SOMONE HELP ME AFTER I TURN OFF MY PSP IT TURNS BACK INTO 6.39 I CONTINUSLY HAVE TO KEEP INTSALLING IT TO TURN IT BACK INTO 6.39 ME-2

      Its LCFW……….you have to run the launcher after you boot-up to re-boot into LCFW

      You don’t need HBL as this release will run straight from the XMB as it is signed. Just turn on the PSP, scroll over to the icon in the MS, load, and go.

    i’m gueesing you have to use the new cxmb released by neuron recently. the thing wanna know is if it work wih ctf themes made for 6.20 . appreciate a good response.

      pro b6 works for go but lcfw has better plugin support i prefer to psp 3000 to the go more comfortable to use and bigger screen

      No, you cannot put m33 on it afterwards, if your looking for a permanent solution, i suggest 6.20 PRO-B5 with the permapatch if your model is compatible (which you can tell if you download pspident) and if you don’t have the OFW 6.20 you can use some1′s 6.3x downgrader.

    Works on my PSP 3001 4g.. it’s good and stable so far.. great work neuron.. Told you people, hacks will be popping out like mushrooms lol

      It’s better to read the topic first man. LCFW = LIGHT CUSTOM FIRMWARE, it means it’s not permanent.

      Running the LCFW for a few seconds saves you from bricking your PSP. BTW 6.39 ME2 works on my 3000 4g.

      Yes!,It works on TA-088-v3 MB’s. Just Update to the 6.39 OFW. Then fire this baby!
      You might also consider trying 6.39 Pro B-6 from VF and Coldbird.

    Is it worth upgrading from 5.03 prometheus-3 (with kxploit)?

    I’ve been on 5.03 so long because of irShell and because of 5.03′s stability and reliability.

    THEY SHOULD ONLY RELEASE LIGHT CUSTOM FIRMWARES AND NEVER MIND MAKING PERMANENT PATCHES… COZ THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND ENDING UP BRICKING THEIR PSP’S.     i have psp 3004 with ofw 6.60.. i installed lcfw from here… today i tried to copy some songs to my psp and it was showing an error
    file integrity violated…
    i deleted both files from my psp(installer” folder and “launcher folder)
    but it dint worked i dont know what hapened…plz help
