ISO Tool 1.965. Backup UMD’s. XMB ISO Launching on 6.xx HEN

Still constantly updating , has released version 1.965. This update adds game patches to allow newer backup games to work.

Tool also lets you create launch icons for your ’s so you can load them straight from the XMB on 6.20 TN HEN and 6.xx HEN. Tool can also convert ’s to , ripp UMD’s to and more.

ISO Tool 1.965 changelog:

[NEW] Prometheus Tales totwrm3 patch will add a folder RM3 totwrm3 patch (5.03/5.50 series), PILv1 (6.20 series), dummy.prx (6.35 system) seems to work ( unconfirmed)

Instructions on how to make ISO’s load from the XMB with ISO Tool.

Make sure you place your legal ISO backup copy in the ISO folder of your memory stick or internal memory for the PSP Go. On my PSP Go I used my PSP-2000 to dump my UMD of GTA:LCS.

ISO Tool: With the Make XMB icon mode, ISO's can be launched from the XMB!

Run ISO Tool under 5.xx CFW or 6.xx HEN, select which ISO you wish to run directly from the XMB menu with the Make XMB-ICON option. This will then make an eboot in the PSP/GAME folder which will run via the (Included in ISO Tool’s folder).

Trouble shooting:

CSO’s don’t work!

If your having lock ups with CSO’s try the M33 driver. Place the isofs_500.prx (Use PRXdecrypter and FW 5.00 to get this file) in the folder inside ISO Tool “DATA/PIL_V2″ Then when you go to load a CSO, hold the left shoulder button when it boots to use the M33 ISO driver instead of the NP9906 driver.

        weird… works fine for me Oo… try to switch off (don’t hold) the psp before the game actually loads. if you switch it on again it should work.

        It does work just choose NP9660 in VSH menu. I tried with my “Need for speed Most wanted 5-1-0″ and it works with no problem.

    Shit, DJ Max Portable 3 isn’t working either two of my favorite games DBZ and DJ Max Portable. Darn hey PSPFan can you tell Takka that can he work on the game for DragonBall Z Tenkaichi Tag Team and DJ Max Portable thx in advance hope that you will ask him to work on it.

    I cant play Rock band Unplugged I have 6.20 TN-A and I downloaded about 3 copys and still doesnt work. If someone can tell me why and how to play it ill appreciate it.

      Either the file you obtain is corrupted or if you using 6.20 hen and you really want to play this game, then update to 6.35 and use its hen to play it ,because its more iso compatible.OR wait for 6.20 hen-D.THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

    Hi all.
    I have the UMD of Silent Hill: Origins. I tried to make an ISO backup of the UMD but it didn’t work out. Why? :(

    P.S.: Anyway I can’t run Need For Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0 … So sad about that, it’s one of my favourite PSP game.
    And… Yeah, I can run God Of War Chains Of Olympus but I can’t watch any movie.
    Hope you “hackers” :P will create a very good Custom Firmware for us in the future, not too far though :D

    When I open Prometheus ISO Loader and try to run the game, I should play Silent Hill but I play Patapon 2 :S

    wow thank you for this! i can now pleasantly see icons on my psp instead of loading it on the iso loader with black screen. but one thing bothers me. for psp go owners it seems that the details doesn’t show unlike the screenshot above. just the icon, background, and bgm

      I think if its a UMD movie you can’t rip it. I tried tipping UMD movies but it gives me japanese message… Are you ripping a UMD game?

    I tried ripping both DBZ Tenkaichi and GTA Chinatown Wars (UMD Games) to my memory card in .iso but they both lock up after like 5-7 minutes of the copying process? I’m on a PSP-3001 with CFW 6.31Pro. Any ideas?

    ok. i have the psp3001 running cfw6.20 tn-hen c. my iso downloaded but its not but its not reading the games i place in the ISO folder. Can i download this without changes my FW? really need help with this, any takers?
