ISO Tool 1.960. Can now create XMB launch icons for ISO’s *Updated*

*Update* just released Tool 1.960, this version fixes a few bugs and adds some new features. Download below.

Takka has updated ISO Tool, this newest version has a cool new feature i know your going to like. You can now create an Eboot / XMB icon for your legally backed up ISO’s and launch games right from the XMB! I’ve tested this feature and it works well on 6.20 TN-C HEN. So we can now launch ISO’s via the XMB with ISO Tool 1.959+ it loads the games using the ISO loader.

Don’t forget ISO Tool, does a lot more than just this. Rip your UMD’s to ISO. Convert ISO to , patch + decrypt with Prometheus.

Make sure you place your legal ISO backup copy in the ISO folder of your memory stick or internal memory for the Go. On my Go I used my -2000 to dump my UMD of GTA:LCS.

Run ISO Tool under 5.xx CFW or 6.xx HEN, select which ISO you wish to run directly from the XMB menu with the Make XMB-ICON option. This will then make an eboot in the PSP/GAME folder which will run via the (Included in ISO Tool’s folder).

Trouble shooting:

CSO’s don’t work!

If your having lock ups with CSO’s try the M33 driver. Place the isofs_500.prx (Use PRXdecrypter and FW 5.00 to get this file) in the folder inside ISO Tool “DATA/PIL_V2″ Then when you go to load a CSO, hold the left shoulder button when it boots to use the M33 ISO driver instead of the NP9906 driver.

    Hey bro have you gotten your MLB 10 The show rip to work perfectly? I downloaded several iso of MLB 10 but they all don’t work. Everytime I start the game my psp just shuts off. Its the only game out of the other 10 other different games that I have that doesn’t work. I have PSP Go with 6.35HEN and just recently upgraded to 6.35PRO-A and still no luck with MLB 10.

    when I put the new iso tool in psp>game and start it, there’s no picture on it. it says corrupted file. can someone help me?

    Okay guys, what you have to do if it says its corrupted, open the actual ISO with an Extractor, (i use 7Zip)

    go into the folder there, and get all the image files, those will be (image).PNG -dot PNG -

    get them all, and place them in the same place as your game iso after that do your thing(run the aplication-Iso tool-), after that it will attach the images to the file and you can then play it, it reads it as a damaged file if you dont do it like this.
