HEN for Firmware 6.36 Vflame’s 6.36 alpha v3 HEN Released

If you were one of the rare cases and updated to 6.36 to play your Japanese UMD version of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Then guess what? You have too. Yes every model / can play homebrew nowadays. Thanks to and with this Eboot users can now run the Sukkiri (Demo) Exploit on 6.36 and reboot into HEN. This link here has the demo and HB rev 112 needed for the HEN. Just replace this eboot and overwrite the one in the hbl directory. Run the Sukkiri Demo, load the exploit save game and reboot into HEN!

6.36HEN (alpha v3 version):
PSP1000 can now fully operational. I need to test other models to test those who get some important data:
Test method:
2K, 3K, 3K04g, please remove the battery, users do not use this step AC.pspgo
And then press the L button and hold the case into the HBL run HEN. Screen will prompt: “Kernel memory will be dumped into ms0: / KMEM.BIN and ms0: / SEED.BIN”.
Then you stick on the package generated kmem.bin and seed.bin upload to me, and comes with your machine model, HEN operation and so on.

      Run the demo and wait untill you get in the menu of the game. then press O (circle) on the second menu (I think it’s already selected when the game starts). The game will load the hacked savegame and you will get a memory leaked error. Then you wll get back tou your PSP menu. you have now loaded HEN! =) just run any homebrew from your psp game menu directly

        dude do you know of any good N64 emulators for this ? i downloaded the Daedlus PSP it worked but when i ran the Roms my PSP froze and shut off. can some one tell me about a good N64 emulator that will work for this?

      Also, I dont think that this version of HEN is for you, as Firmware 6.36 should only be for the Monster Hunter UMD so far…
      For me the savegame did not initially work. I had to run the demo and create my own savefile first, then replace it with the hacked one.

    So you reboot and it automatically puts you into hen?

      yup. but like any other hen if u turn off the psp you will have to do the whole process again.

        @ random psp dude. All you have to do is to put up your psp into suspend device. Please check the vsh menu of your hen then choose suspend menu everytime you want to off your psp. I hope my info will help you.

      This is PRO most likely but unsure.
      And this won’t work on 6.35, use the 6.35 version instead which is exactly same as this. You can find it on the main page here on PSH.

      Someone wanna clarify what’s the difference between Pro and Hen?
      I’m pretty sure 6.20 tn-b (what im running atm) is Hen.
      so what’s the difference and what functions am i lacking that pro has and hen doesn’t? o.O

    lol Microsoft does not have this problem. It took 6 years to get the psp keys…if hackers were good, they would have found them the first week of release . Military encryption has yet to be compromised. Sony should use them.

      It’s not that simple. The fact that Sony was so unprepared for something like this shows that they didn’t forsee the keys being used in anyway. Also, digging through firmware for something you’re not even looking for in the first place takes time.

      if it says that then take out your psp 2k/3k battery and run it with the ac adapter. then when its ben put into hen mode, you can put the battery back in and take out the ac

    Military encryption has not been compromised yet. Sony should use it. It took 6 years to find the psp keys; good hackers can get them quicker.

    Hey guys so I have HEN for 6.35, and I can’t play the MHP3rd iso. I get black screen before the menu will even show up.

    If I upgrade to OFW 6.36, then use HEN for 6.36, will I be able to play MHP3rd?

      I consider it ironic, but I have not been able to start MHP3rd from iso via Prometheus on this HEN (6.36 PRO).

    Just hope people aren’t retarded enough to use this hen to downgrade, then their psp is bricked and start complaining. Even though many were warn about this. I’m glad the progress of available hens is much quicker ,the hackers are doing a excellent job. Hope there is a cfw coming soon for 6.35

      Actually PRO is HEN(Homebrew Enabler) PRO is just name given to a HEN and i suggest u should not upgrade ur HEN which is 6.20 tn-b (HEN).

        Actually PRO is A HEN but its not created by Total_N00b and his creation is TN_A/B HEN (TN= Total_N00b) and PRO and TN HEN both are HomebrewEnablers(HEN) but created by different devs.

    Hi I have been playing on my hacked PSP 6.35 last 3days. But suddenly today the system version shows 6.35
    and even after running the mina sukiri demo , nothing happens and PSP shuts down
    after turning ON it still shows PSP 6.35
    I also copied the Hen 6.35 files again to just check any corruption, but again same problem,.
    Please help
