Half Byte Loader (HBL) R116 for Firmware 6.60

Share

Silly enough that you updated to 6.60 from 6.39 CFW and missing your homebrew? And your on a non flashable PSP. No CFW 6.60 ME love? Well , and have a Get Out of Jail Free card for you. Well sorta. Working together with in a few hours they now have a working () port for Firmware 6.60, You guys DO remember don’t ya? Well its making a short a sweet come back if you happen to *Stupidly* be on 6.60. This is a debug version so its no stable build that was expected to be used by everyone but more of a proof of concept for fw 6.60 while we wait for ′s .

Thanks Dimitar again for this PSP news as it happens!

I didn’t expect to see HBL back to be honest. But I guess its useful while we wait for some1′s 6.60 to 6.39 downgrader right! Whatever you do, don’t upgrade to 6.60. Its does not add anything at all!

  • dimy93

Me either but i’m pretty sure that will come handy for someone for some time while we wait some1 to release a downgrader :)

I remember the days with HBL and the Patapon 2 demo… good times… though the theme song got annoying.

Yeah that’s why HBL Rulez, without it, it would be very hard to hack new firmwares!! Thanks to all developers!

If Sony keeps up with all these bad and useless updates, they will be having to go through a bunch of PS Vita patches, because some of the stuff their using in the PSP 1000/2000/3000/Go will be put into the PS Vita

    • dimy93

      No.
The software of PSP will no way be related to the PSV’s.Most prosbably everything will be rewritten.

how to u put this in ur psp?

  • kingwow34

So what does the half bite loader do any way. I already hve CFW pro-b10 and also what is the difference between Pro b-10 and the ME 6.60? (i just started doing this stuff)

  • Mavic_bagtindon

will this be ok with psp 3000?

    • GrimmHallows

In terms of the compatibility of Half Byte Loader thus far, yes.

Since the 1000′s are now outdated, and the 2000′s aren’t far behind, I’d have to think that this was released with at least some support for a 3000.

Then again, I don’t know for sure myself, but that’s my reasoning.
