As promised by Rockstar, they have released their first batch of Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars screenshots. As we see its the same as the DS version, a top-down, isometric view, but with widescreen graphics and better looking. It will be interesting to see how rockstar has managed to move this stylus based game over to the PSP’s control system. I’m interested in seeing some gameplay videos. But either way being the fact that its another GTA on the PSP I’m sold!

i dont like the graphics, its more cartoon-like. is the view always on top?? if it is, then this game would be lame for a gta title.
i like gta lcs and vcs better than this.
and maybe saints row for the psp would look more better than this.

THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Going back to the first GTA’s style. Plus its like the DS version only better (VERYVERYVERY BETTER) graphics. You have to destroy cops to get rid of them. Never played GTA4 so dont judge. And you have to distroy cameras ( takes place for the hidden objects ).

They only made this because the ds one didn’t reach sales targets-well no bloody wonder EVERY FORUM I HAVE VISITED HAS MASSES OF POTENTIAL SALES GO TO DOWNLOADS!

Seriously this is just pathetic, had you guys listened to my advice and NOT MADE THIS GAME, you wouldn’t have to port it to PSP cause of extremely bad sales. Now that you’ve wasted millions in corporate money, I suggest you make a GOOD GTA game for the PSP and the iPhone and lay off the DS. It’s a kids (12 and under) console, very few kids play GTA and you can make a much better looking game on the PSP/iPhone.

I Have both a PSP with GTA LCS + VCS, and a DS with CTW.
This game is bull*****!
It looks like a very bad mashup of LCS and CTW (Bad idea).
It has the top down view from CTW on DS, but it doesn’t have the cute cartoonish graphics, which made CTW look cool on the DS.

Good games with bad graphics would be like mario on NES or Metal Gear Solid 1. CTW may have been a good DS game, but that’s because DS lacks games like GTA in the first place. Sure, I’ll give it a shot when it comes out. Heck, my viewpoint may even change. All I’m saying is, by the looks of it as-is, it’s definitely not up to par in PSP standards.
