Gran Turismo PSP Demo running on a PSP Go @ E3, Coming Oct 1st 2009!
More news via E3, this he time a game we have been waiting for since the PSP was released practically. Sony announced that Gran Turismo PSP is indeed coming to the PSP and sooner rather than later. Its due for a side by side release with the new PSP Go come the 1st of October 2009. Great news!
Details that were released about Gran Turismo PSP:
- It will run at a smooth 60fps on the new PSP Go, (presumably on all the PSP models?)
- Gran Turismo PSP will have over 800 cars!
- 35 tracks and 60 layout variations of those tracks so plenty of tracks to keep you busy.
- Up to 4 player multi-player via Ad Hoc
- You can share and swap cars via Wifi
Now for some screen shots:

I’m quite excited about this game. I love the GT series. So having it on my PSP is just a big plus! 800 cars is cars. I think this game has been in the works since when 2005? when IGN showed us some screens of it.

A game like this is worth buying. The few good games we have for the PSP deserve to be bought anyway lol.

but can iso image of the game be made for older psp’s or is it like u can only play the downloaded game on the psp that u downloaded it from………..seems really impractical though cause downloading 1000MB of stuff with psp is gonna be slow so they would have to have a umd copy as well. or otherwise the internet speed is like 100MB/sec….lol……good for psptube users

Let’s see… 1.2GB (average UMD game) @ 256kb/sec (do you _really_ think the Sony servers will be able to push more than that?)
That gives a whopping 10hrs 37mins. Ouch.

Nice! ~ Cheers everyone!
June 5, 2009 at 2:36 am
i hope you gys do realize that the game might be smaller than 1gb, since they are forcing you to download it, and they might force you to download at about 10mb per sec like they usually do on the psn store.

so can we play this game online
June 6, 2009 at 12:21 am
Dosn’t look like it… You can trade cars though.
NFS games that went online lagged to much. What would make this any differnt?
June 6, 2009 at 5:15 am
The reason they lagged so much is because of the 40/KB Per second limit so this game should kickass!
June 6, 2009 at 6:03 am
Were did you get that #?
If what PSPFan said what correct that could be true.
Working on this game since 2005 and no online play? lol
