GamesCom 2011 : PSVita to have Trophy Support,Skype,Facebook and Tweeter

’s Press Conference at this year started with PSVita. And more specifically  with the PSV‘s capabilities outside of the games. We found out that next Sony’s handheld is going to support trophies and they are going to be uploadable on PSN in order to be seen by all your friends. After the trophy support we were said that all PSVita games will be avaliable on the PSN as well – a dream come truth for Sony. The company is trying to make PSP developers to do so for years and now I guess they have succeeded with the Vita. Then the conversation moved on the capabilities of the so called by Sony  ”social handheld”. We were told of how the browser can help us  ”surf anywhere, anytime ” which sounds like a cheap ad to me to be honest. Later we were explained that  the social networks as well as Skype are going to get a special apps so people can easily use them. Here are some pictures of what we saw:

    Very cool, Skype is a must for this console. That measn with the 3G plan we can make calls if need be when abotu and about. Wifi model to a degree too of course but you need to find a wifi connection.

    The PSP version that needed a camera and was available only for calls only but no chat or video chat was a disaster and the 150 friends limit was so stupid-is it bad to have 750 friends…
