FreePlay save game exploit.

To further silence the doubters out there, FreePlay has posted another video. This time displaying all 4 current PSP models (PSP-1000 to PSP-3000 + The PSP Go) running the same save game exploit. Which allows user mode kernels to run. FreePlay isn’t releasing any further info on this. And has also commented that this won’t lead to Custom Firmware or ISO loaders.

Fine, but at least to run a few emulators and homebrew would be nice?

      I have pspgo 5.70 so that exploit works on 6.10.so is safe to update to 6.10??(because i want to use hombrews)

    freeplay showed that there is a way to exploit it,(but he does not want to share the world with it)that’s ok,cause there will be other people with greater minds that who would share what they know….lol

      I totally agree 100 percent remember the show HACKERS,the guys says info supposed to be shared and not kept to oneself if u released this u are a legend and maybe other developers will use ur findings and create something else i hope u change ur mind on this situation we all are searching for something DONT DEPRIVED US OF THAT.

    So Freeplays basically another one of those assholes who knows how to do something that can benefit people but he wont share, greedy bastard your just kicking us all in the nuts with this. its whatever though im sure someone else will figure it out Dax has been quite for a while he may decide to shine now untill then i’ll stick with my 3000 running 5.03 gen-a and the 5.55/6.00 decryptor

      Its not that THEY DON’T WANT TO.. it that ITS NOT POSSIBLE… its a USER MODE EXPLOIT.. a user mode exploit is simply not capable of running CFWE or ISOs… Do you really think hackers are THAT selfish.. if it was possibile to run ISO or stuff they defienatly would release it .. but since its not… free play decided to go for fame and be the first to KACK the go.. (even if its not a full blown hack like CFW)

    SOMEONE SHOULD REALLY CHECK OUT TO SEE IF FIRMWARE 5.70 IS VUNERABLE TO THE MOHH EXPLOIT.

    CAUSE I KNOW THAT SONY PATCHED IT ON 6.00 AND 6.10.

    BUT IF ANYONE WAS JUST INTERESTED IN TESTING IT OUT THEY SHOULD TRY IT.

      the medal of honor exploit works up until firmware 5.55 but DOES NOT alow you to run CFWE…. its been discussed time and time again…

Plus it was not his exploit to begin with.. its an exploit released within the underground community that was never released to us. Thats why sony did not find it and patch it. Further more.. even if he did release it to us.. you have to remember (if you did any homework at all regarding the matter) that the psp go ONLY supports games downloaded via the PSN/PSTORE. Thus even if this would create a chain reaction of events that lead to the hacking of the go, once publicly released it would be withdrawn and patched within a maximum 4~6 hours. GET IT?

    BONG9956: The medal of honor exploit until now works on all regions of the MOHH. However the save game exploit has only been really developed for one MOHH region. (It has been known to be portable to other regions) It will work using a single PSP on all fiurmware up to 5.55. I haven’t seen anything about it on 5.70 but its no longer usable on 6.00. Its another USERMODE EXPLOIT that will not lead to any kernel mode exploits which means NO CFW and no ISO loading.

    Just to be clear the one freeplay is showing IS NOT the medal of honor exploit as MOHH IS NOT offerd on the PSN. WHICH MEANS THERES NO WAY to have it on the PSPGO. (as far as i know)..

    I think the moderator should make a thread on Kmode and umode exploits so everyone understands before asking for new Firmware or whining about the hack not being released.

    Xenogears and Team MHU are working on a CFWE 3.70 which will add 5.55 patched ISO compatibility to the cursed mobos via 5.03 CFWE / HEN. However there is no word on his progress yet. you can visit their forum for more info.

    Well i was just looking for an updated version of a program and i see this forum and wow people crying and pissing and moaning. Damn i think by saying that its not his would mean you could figure it out, that is if you would quit holding out your hands waiting for people to give you everything. And when we all know it will eventually be hacked one way or another. But on another point, its really not that great looking, still kinda big looking, and the buttons are protected, when its the screen getting scratched that has happened to all my psps.

      the patch IS a patch within the hackers community.. they did not release it because its a USER MODE EXPLOIT.. If you don’t know what a USER MODE EXPLOIT is, you should brush up on your psp knowledge dude…
      To put it blank – A user mode exploit is not what you want
