So, you've got your custom firmware, but your themes don't work?

This has happened to 3 of my friends psp's, but we were able to figure it out.

1. Plug you psp into your computer through a USB cord

2. Start your CFW 3.71 M33-2 psp in Recovery mode(hold R and start the psp)This step is sometimes tricky as your psp does not always go into recovery mode. Try over and over

3. Go to Advanced> Toggle Flash 1

4. Your computer should automatically detect a folder, containing 1 or 2 folders. In this folder create a new folder called VSH . Than in this folder create a folder called THEME. So it should be Folder that pops up>VSH>THEME.

5. Now exit out of your psp, and start it up normally.

6. Go into USB Connection

7.Once detected by your computer, go to PSP>THEME.

8. Drag your theme into here.

9. Now exit USB mode, and go select your theme through your PSP

For some reason, creating 2 folders with nothing in it worked. Im not sure exactly how. Also when i modded my psp, i didnt have to do this. But for another slim, and 2 fats i did. Very weird...no?

Any feedback?

I wouldn;t really call it tampering.

Your Just creating 2 folders, and naming them VSH and THEME.

You dont put anything in the folders.

I dont see how you can mess up.

But ok!

If your using 3.7x+ Why not use the official format for themes? Ptf themes are the easiest to install. Just drop in the PSP/Theme folder and then select the theme Smiley

That's whatd you do normally.

This is if that doesnt work.

This method above is the same thing, just you have to create 2 folders with nothing in them, that somehow lets the normal method of installing themes work.
