Firmware 6.20 Save Game exploits – Whats happening?

We know things are quiet at the moment. Most of you it seems are waiting patiently on news from these Save Game Exploits. Not much to report as things have gone underground as you know.

However we do have an update today from Flyer over at lan.st. Stating he has made some progress and is able to load binary files from the memory stick. This itself is a huge step. Meaning an eloader is possible.

binary loader works fine, that mean it indeed loads code from binary file on ms.
if u mean some proof like video or else, then there won’t be anything like this, ’cause there’s no need.

This exploit is the second of three known 6.20 Firmware save game exploits out there. The first is PSPJoke’s save game exploit which we haven’t heard anything about since its discovery, then Flyers and lastly the half-boiled 6.20 save game exploit.

A release is very unlikely, not for a long while or when Sony patches it. Still hang in there. Don’t go updating to 6.30 when its released…..(If its released)

    Interesting. Does this mean we can expect a release within coming weeks? Although I already have 5.03 HEN, this will be great for everyone who can’t hack right now. Especially since I don’t think I can keep 5.03 on my 3000 forever, seeing as there’s bound to be an accident sooner or later where one of my friends or relatives accidentally update. >_>

    when will this game exploit be release? 2012? hahaha lol, it’s been a long time since they hacked the 5.03 FW,, hopefully by may or june they will crack this thing up.. so everyone who update their psp in 5.50 fw will be happy…. hahaha

    As a wise lxcainxl once said- Very few of the new games truly require you to update (the ones you can’t play after ripping/decrypting), and you’re missing out on, what, Digital Comics and SenseMe? Homebrew has answers to both of those, I think. The only thing that somewhat sucks is not being able to use the updated popsloader, past 5.03 FW (for PSP 3000s), but again, not for the majority of PSX games.

    Be patient, peoples! How about all of you complain, on the PSP MAME post, about how homebrew for the CFW you Do have can be kind of limited? (MAME set .97? No Ninja Turtle action? Good job so far, but improve!)

      dont update yet, because we dont have much of a clue on the exploit yet and if you can load cfw so i advise that you dont update and flyer said it works on all firmwares so just stay on 5.51!

    I am sorry that I might hurt others’ feelings. Just a guessing very close to the fact, the people (Flyer) who found the save game exploits is not capable of further going on with the project without the help of certain people like wololo and other hackers(including “spy” from Sony). However ,they are not going to help him with any ISO loader and so on.
    Actually, this save game exploits might only be a cover or attention target since they really intend to cool down and put the PSPJOKE’s exploits underground.

    So please don’t expect too much of it. Six months or longer is a reasonable estimate and most likely it goes no where.

      the 6.10 exploit was patched by sony, and a user here was introducing himself as the sony’s spy..and he was paid by sony to do the “spying” on us. so flyer should hurry or else…

    I registered just so I can express my excitement for this little update. I broke my PSP fat a few months ago and I was devistated. My gf bought me a psp bright/3001 and I was excited until I found out that the 3000 series was unhackable past 5.02. So this bit of info really brightens my week if not entire month. I just want to be able to play snes games on my psp again. :(

      the MOHH (Medal Of Honour: Heros) exploit will work
      GENd2 isnt an exploit
      its a cfw, so you need a earlier cfw or hombrew enaber
      which you dont have
      so…..

    the fact it IS possible we could get a 6.20 cfw is great and all. But what happend to 6.10? Some of us were smart enough to wait for the next cfw installment. which was expected to be 6.10. If any you guys know what the deal is around this, i’d like to know. thnx

    Hey DangerGadget. Did you know you can upgrade your firmware. 6.30 has not come out so simply go to System Update and there ya go. If ya wanna be on the safe side in case they release 6.30 at the time your about to update just download 6.20 from computer. Get usb cable from computer to psp then drag the file to your PSP Root.

    Do a free download.

    Save it to your desktop

    Connect your PSP

    Once download is at desktop drag the file to your PSP Root_MP Folder or the folder you get to after you click Removable Disk from the PSP.

    Go to Game

    Then click memory stick

    then look for the update.

    this save data exploit is in a demo! But some demos need to active from your psn account. so this is like psn demos and we must acctive psp system too?? and some demos do not need to any psn account and activation… now is may this is like psn demos or itself…??
