Where is the larger extended battery cover for the PSP Slim Sony. so we can use our old PSP batteries? That’s the question on many PSP Slim owners minds. It seems our friends Sony have gone all but quite on this topic.

After a month of countless emails to there customer service dept I have yet to receive any word on this slightly larger battery cover replacement to accommodate for the older model batteries.

But Its a little worrying to note that they still haven’t updated there official site to show the new PSP Slim or even model’s part numbers only they show the PSP-1000. The older PSP (Fat) model (not phat), infact all PSP units shown are still the old model. I guess there getting around to it…Much like our larger battery cover.

So if anyone with a little know-how and could manufacture a larger plastic battery cover’s nows your change to make a bit of money as Sony aren’t up to the job it seems!

Anyone managed to locate a 3rd party replacement cover? My old battery gives better batter life but with out a cover its kind of useless.
