Evangelion: Jo - The first anti Custom Firmware game?

PSPGen have posted that a new Japanese game, called Evangelion: Jo scans your RAM and detects if you have any type of custom firmware or not. If it detects you have custom firmware. The game will freeze displaying the screen above with some lovely classical musicplayed in the background. It also doesn’t seem that you could bypass this check, since its scanning the RAM….

So Sony have taken things a step further with Anti Custom Firmware games.

Reading through all the comments I find one to many idiots here! When there is problem there is solution. One guy was saying he had to hardmod to use ChickHEN, hardmod what? Do you know what ChickHEN is? It’s for the PSPs that CANNOT have a CFW flashed on them. If your using ChickHEN you don’t have to hard mod shit! No matter what we do whre we go there will always be Anti-CFW, so what! That’s how CFW gets better, no competition no go CFWs! As for this game WAIT! Sonner or later there will most likely be a bypass for it in the next CFW. For those who are saying love Sony, blah blah blah, get a life! No one asked for your comments on loving Sony!

      Are you stupid?
If anything, EVERYONE should be thanking Sony, without them, we wouldn’t even have a PSP.
Also, if you’re gonna reply with “but they’re ruining CFW”, no shit they are, they’re a company, they’re trying to make money not lose it.

uhuh right any way shit it only works on psx eboots lol

Doesnt it piss you off a little that, even though youre buying an original game, they dont let you play (if you have hacked in the past)? In fact, forcing the PSP community to hack even more.

    • mr.ninja

yeah they shouldnt put this kind of protection on umds since those were bought

      • Dokioto

So there is no protection in the UMDs… Then some one takes it home rips it and uploads it to some site. Now 10000 people have it and Sony is out of money.

        Think about it

  • PSP-2010

You shouldn’ buy UMD’s if you know they will have protection on them. Infact i don’t think you will buy UMD’s cos of ISO avaliability

Toradora Portable! does not work either. It doesn’t even give you a warning like the one shown in Evangelion: Jo. It just doesn’t load the game.
I’m using 5.03 GEN-A on a PSP 3000 and the website I got it from states that it doesn’t work on M33 hacks.

Anyone know of a code for this one, too?
