Ok so your still on 5.00 M33-6 and want to play some of your 5.50 or 6.00 UMD games on your custom firmware? Well now you can with mc707′s Eboot patcher. It basically works the same as Yoshihiro’s 5.55 & 6.00 games decrypter but for and CFW 5.03 MHU

OK here’s how it works, First you need to open up your ISO you made from your UMD. Extract the games eboot. Use Yoshihiro’s 5.55 & 6.00 games decrypter V2 then patch the game eboot with this patcher and rebuild your ISO with UMD Gen 4. And your done. Enjoy your purchased 5.55 or 6.00 firmware game on your Cfw 5.00 M33 PSP.

        Rip a umd, open it with umdgen 4. In the “sysdir” folder grab the eboot.bin and place in the root of your memory stick. On the psp, run game decrypter. Plug in the USB cable, and there should be a new folder in the root called decrypter, containing the decrypted eboot. Pretty self explanitory from there. If you need more help search for Game decrypter ( or click the first link in the similar posts section) and scan the comments for more info. For future reference, the search function is your friend :) . Happy gaming!

      I dont`t know whats you`r problem, but Undead Knight works fine on my PSP 2003 v3 and CFWEnabler 3.60 5.03MHU

        hmmm maybe its because im running Gen-A not MHU, but i cant seem to get CFWenabler 3.60 to work.. it says error writing to flash…

    it worked! im playing Naruto Shippuuden LAR on my PSP 3000 5.03 GEN-A. Just use the tutorial:

    But instead of putting the EBOOT.bin decrypted by the Yoshiniro Tool to UMDGen, patch it first with this patcher. After patching proceed to step 7.

    Works like a charm! Now all we need to do is wait for all the other new games like TEKKEN 6 to be realeased!

    I just tried this on Gran Turismo on my 5.03MHU (TA88v3) and it does start, I see the Polyphony logo etc. but after it told me that the Game uses autosave the screen goes black and nothing happens anymore. I can access the HOME menu though and return to the XMB so the PSP didn’t crash. Anyone got an idea what’s wrong?

      getting exactly the same problem here with fifa10 on psp1000 CFW 5.00 M33-6

        Have you tried it with Sony NP9660 drivers? You do can that by clicking SELECT while in CFW.

        BTW: I used the EUR version of GT, maybe it works with US?

        getting same with both drivers.. if I leave it the PSP just switched off after a while. ahhh well..

      there are bad dumps of gt out there. go get hako’s iso to replace your legal back up copy.
      then redo everything.
      if the decryptor pukes… just run the patch. its most likely already been decrypted.

    i confirmed this works for 5.03 MHU PSP 3000.. i just tried the new naruto…

    must extract the eboot.bin and replace the one in iso n then save in a new iso using umdGen4

    MUHAHAHAH FINALLY we can PLAY ^_^

    I registered here just to say how much this rocks too.
    When they first OWNED 5.5 with Gen I just knew that it was a matter of time until they made a solution for m33 (my favourite CFW). Thank you very much. I hope this still works when Little Big Planet, GTA Chinatown Wars and specially Dante´s Inferno come out.

    Tried it out with Disgaea 2 and Persona.
    Disgaea 2 works.
    Persona face the black screen of doom after the OP.

      you must be doing something wrong-my slim with 5.00m33v6 is working fine-is the boot.bin file being booted or the eboot like it should?

      It’s funny though..I got NFS shift working before all of this..no patching..lol!

        my psp 2k is ta 88v3 and i don’t know what is wrong with NARUTO AR even after the patch it doesn’t work im using 5.03mhu

    I have a clean ISO of Persona, and I take the EBOOT.bin file and then decrypt it and run it through the patcher, and then rebuild the ISO but I still get the black screen of death. When rebuilding the ISO on UMDGEN do I have to do anything with the LBA protection? I get the black screen of death on 5.03 MHU, but others have reported it working. If anyone could assist me it would be much appreciated.

      Never mind it was the LBA protection.

      Shin Megami Tensei: Persona (USA) works on 5.03 MHU confirmed. :)

        Megami, I am having the same problem with persona. I am not a noob but I don’t know anything about the LBA Protection. Could you please let me know how to fix that or if you could point me in the direction of a fix? Any help would be much appreciated. Please? :)

        When you load the ISO on UMD gen go on File export and save Filelist.txt

        Then after you have finished patching the EBOOT.bin and are about to make the new ISO go on File import and find that file and it should work!

    Dirt2 works great on 5.00 M33-6

    Version of GT I had it wouldnt patch the eboot at all. will try another version.

      i have used the tutorial of se7en the 11th post try it and dont forget to put the filelist on your desk top and add it to your pacthed iso before you save the iso and you are done ; )

      No, not the ISO. The eboot.bin of the ISO.

    in my psp 3000 Gran turismo=black screen and i cant back to xmb the psp crash why? what i can do?

      first you need to make sure you have a good iso.
      then extract the sysdir\eboot.bin using umdgen.
      then copy it to your psp and decrypt it.
      then place the decrypted eboot in the patcher folder.
      run the patcher. take the decrypted/patched eboot
      and put it back in the folder on umdgen.
      then save your iso. copy it over to your ms and play.
      it works on 5.03 mhu guaranteed.
      you have to follow all the steps correctly.

    it seems I have a problem. Undead Knights turns to black screen of death at the same place. you can run it but it freezes at one of the checkpoints and turns black. then just turns off. maybe someone can help? because it freezes on my psp 2003 v3 5.03MHU and my friends psp 2004 v2 5.50 GEN-B
