Ok so your still on 5.00 M33-6 and want to play some of your 5.50 or 6.00 UMD games on your custom firmware? Well now you can with mc707′s Eboot patcher. It basically works the same as Yoshihiro’s 5.55 & 6.00 games decrypter but for and CFW 5.03 MHU

OK here’s how it works, First you need to open up your ISO you made from your UMD. Extract the games eboot. Use Yoshihiro’s 5.55 & 6.00 games decrypter V2 then patch the game eboot with this patcher and rebuild your ISO with UMD Gen 4. And your done. Enjoy your purchased 5.55 or 6.00 firmware game on your Cfw 5.00 M33 PSP.

      the decrypter said it cannot be decrypted, file unknown..

    I’ll rephrase my question sorry >.< Can i patch an already decrypted eboot.bin that has already been patched for a 5.55 Gen B to convert it into a 5.00 M33/5.03 MHU Patch?

    I too have the problem the Eboot Patcher is not patching my decrypted Arctic Adge Eboot. It was successful with Undead Knights and Disgaea 2 though. Any tips or a working Eboot? :)

    Pure awesomness!!! After long hours with yoshihiro game decrypter, I was finally able to play my SMT: Persona on PSP-3004. It totally works on 5.03 MHU! I’m still a little shocked but at last I can play Persona!

    Need a little help on getting Persona to work. I am not a noob but I don’t know anything about the LBA Protection. Could you please let me know how to fix that or if you could point me in the direction of a fix? Any help would be much appreciated. Please? :)

      You do everything as said here – http://forums.pspslimhacks.com/tutorials/2482-using-yoshihiros-game-decrypter-eboot-patcher-w-screens.html . But after you decrypt your EBOOT.bin from SYSDIR folder, you need to patch it with this Eboot Patcher and then add it to your ISO. After that you just compile it, transfer to your PSP and enjoy Persona!

      If you still get black screen, try changing driver in VSH menu (SELECT button in CFW).

    right 5.03 mhu.. decrypted and patched.. and still no gran turismo.. the game starts up.. and then BOOM freezes… any1 else have that problem.. i thought this patcher was for 5.03 mhu.. im got a psp 3000 with cfe 3.60

      yes i have the same problem with GT , and I think you using EU version .. . if its EU version it wont work try to download US version and it will work my friend called me he has GT US and its work on PSP3004 i will get the US version from him tomorrow goodluck man …

      try a starting with a different iso. there are bad ones out there.
      look for fixed iso if you want to download your legal backup copy.
      or you could rip your own iso.

      yes my friend it works download the US version and do all the steps you did for the EU version and enjoy the game you can get it from any torrent :) good luck to you…

      No one knows. Some say they are working on it. But I think hacking the TA-090V2-V3 motherboard of the PSP 3000 isnt that easy.

    I need help… i cant get naruto shippuden to work. i folowed the steps and all i managed was a black screen. im using a psp 3k 5.03 GEN-A.

        Mine is PSP 3000 5.03 GEN-A and it worked flawlessly. Just have to follow the steps correctly. Test first before giving the wrong message dude.

    still everytime i try to run the CWFE 3.60 my psp goes into 5.03 GEN-A not 50.3 MHU… how can i fix this?

      Use the CFWEnabler to uninstall GEN-A. Open CFWEnabler in GAMES, press and hold R trigger while its reloading. Uninstall then install. Thats it. Youtube has that tutorial. Search for it.

        this doesnt work. you’ll get an error. load chickhen/gen-a. then all you have to do is run 3.60 for mhu. the uninstall does nothing.

      Chiva.. i had this problem as well…. after you enter chickhen …. go to the games holder as if you were going to load CFWE .. but hold R and press X (or O – depends on the region you bought your psp from) to load CFWE without letting go of R . This should load a different CFWE screen that allows you to uninstall CFWE… Click UNinstall and you should now be free of both CFWE and also GEN-A …

      From here i normally do a hard reboot.. reload back into Chickhen and initiate CFWE, trigger the installer then load it…(basically all that se7en said)

      Personally i really don’t know which one is better.. but Xenogeras has declared he is trying to work on a CFWE 3.70 . I am a fan of the “organizer” pluggin (don’t really remeber the name) .. The pluggin works.. only not very well with Gen-A… Thats why i uninstalled Gen-A and went back to MHU shortly after..

    U do need the UMDGEN 4 and Decrypter as well, but when you read the the readme you don’t have to save any file .txt crap. I skipped it and now Madden 10 and IL2 birds of prey work on 5.00 m33-6! By the way, it is a good time to compress it as a .cso file. Saves more space for those of u who don’t know.
    If you are trying to use your saved iso files and you don’t want to reload them again I suggest you get 7zip and install. then you can manually right click, extract, and there ya go, get the eboot.bin file and put it in the patcher, patch, replace the eboot.bin in the folder where ya got it, and then use UMD GEN 4 to compress it. Right click on the screen and add folder (add the game folder) then add the file UMD_DATA.BIN and then click on save on top. Pick ISO or CSO, and then wait for it and then put it on your psp and enjoy. Delete your files that were extracted when done, u don’t need them, make sure u do this when you tested your game first to make sure you don’t have to do it again!

    So far, does not work with Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, undead knight no go either. Quick question, cso files are a pain, how do you unzip, uncompress them? So far, not allowed to do it with any extractor, compressor.

      I got it to work for Undead Knights (US version). Use Game Decrypter v4 per Rith’s tutorial. The only difference is, Game Decrypter will not patch the EBOOT.bin file, but Eboot Patcher will. Use it to patch the file and then rebuilt and save the .iso (or .cso) file like you normally would. Worked like a charm for me.

      possibly you tried YOSHI patching an already patched ISO… Skip that part and run the next patch…

      I read that undead knights was succsessfully converted… (somewhere)

      Beaterator & Naruto were successfully patched before.. as was undead knights… first of all.. check the 5.50 gen-a compatibility list.. if its compatible… try the steps in the guide on the front page of pspslimhacks titled PSP Tutorial: Yoshihiro’s FW 5.55 & 6.00 Game Decrypter . ITS IMPORTANT TO CHECK THE REGIONAL COMPATIBILITY AS WELL!

      **use Rith’s Tutorial to Yoshihiro’s PSP 5.55 + 6.00 Game Decrypter.

      After step 6, you should patch the eboot.bin with the patcher. (lets call that step 6b )

      If you are unsuccessful at the end or if you get an error at step 5…. try everything all over again but this time, skip step 5 & 6… but DO step 6b… and continue with the remaining steps.. If all goes well you should have a running ISO.

      I had a problem using yoshiro’s Game Decrypter V2.3 .. but everything works fine for me with v2… but you can try them both.

    today i discovered a cool thing fo my psp 3k
    it might help chickhen r2 users
    i was sufferin to get chickehen r2 loaded on my 3k with a 16 gb ms but this problem is finly solved
    and here is what u should do to get it loaded from the first time:
    1 connect ur psp to the pc via usb
    2 go to ms0:/PSP/PHOTO/Chickhen. were there is the four gifs and a tiff
    3 delete all the four gifs (egg pictures) ( there should be only the slim tiff inside the Chickhen folder)
    4 disconect your psp
    5 in the xmb go to photo where there is a camera icon and a memory stick icon on the memory stick icon press x then immediately press left as fast as u can
    6 do step 5 one more time and the lovely green screen will show up
    hope this will help some pepole
