Dark_Alex Working on TA-088 Solution

The new Motherboard/CPU issue has been examined, and DA is working on it!  The problem seems to base from not just the new motherboards, but the new CPU’s being installed.  Some TA-088s can be flashed, so it’s kind of a gamble at this point.  Dark_Alex has stated that the problem has to do with the core of Despretar Cementario runs off of 1.50/3.40, something that evidently the new CPU’s can’t handle.  A new version of Despretar Cementario will not be realeased until they have remade the Core.

Alek says:

As you might have already seen, there are some mobos (TA-088 ones, slim models) in where the IPL used for Despertar del Cementerio, Pandora and Time Machine therefore, doesn’t work.

IPL can be still run from the Memory Stick, but just those that are signed by Sony, and not the ones that contain a different signature; a problem that will probably block the actual way of running your cfw’s, as you couldn’t even load on this NANDs the custom IPLs with different signature.

Even though, IPL is not the problem, but probably the mixed kernel of 1.50&&3.40, and it will be the best option to use a new kernel on Despertar del Cementerio future versions.

So, to sum up, new Dc version will not be released till the new Core and interface is finished. Please be patient :)

So there you have it folks, the new DC will be created, but not until they do some serious changes to it.

    I think he’s waiting to give us a christmas present or something. I bought my girl a new psp, till i found out it’s also a TA-088 V3 motherboard, so i’m also trapped.haha but once again the hackers will come out with something to beat those sonyfuckers!!!

    We have been waiting for long, with all respect to DA but it seems that evil Co closed all doors.
    I would say that because after all the waiting time no clarification or hope statement by DA.
    I think the only hope is some how expensive but at least I will not but the PSP in the bin, is to change the TA-88V3 mainboard with hackable one, did any one tried this solution?

    look on you’re box, when there is a letter “G” on it, you have defenitly a TA-088 V3 mobo motherboard, so you don’t need the DA tool to recognize it. i hope Da will come out very soon with his release, because my girl is waiting for it.

    ah then it’s probably a v1, or v2 motherboard, you can use the DA tool to see if it’s a v3 mobo motherboard, but you said that it has been hacked, it is probably not a v3 mobo.

      All new PSP with 4.01 ofw are not hackable.
      They are currently useless. Just return them to the store unless you want to watch movies with it or play UMD games. Why don’t Sony fucken fix the Internet browsing “out of memory” error? What a piece of shit feature.

    Well, it’s not that I want to put pressure on the team, not even that I barely insinuate anything. it’s just that I’m tired of having my new psp covered with spider webs at the bottom of the drawer (not figurative if i get bored of my slow umd’s and the damn console prisoner of its own official firmware) so it would be wise to lure our minds with something concrete from the DA team.     DAX shouldn’t have to approximate a date. Just look at the PSP-1ooo’s when it came out. No-one knew it was going to be hacked. Just be patient and hope for a cure (like cancer lmao).

    suppose that the cure against cancer of the PSP 1000 has been discovered, and we all have the cancer of the PSP (2000v3&3000), Dr. DA hasn’t promised to deliver the second cure (unclear date). If he gives us a ray of hope, he’ll prevent suicides.
    Now we begin to lose our hair, theets and faith. we just ask whether that might be possible to cure this sh*t. Otherwise we could sell our organs.. So in this case if there is no hope we could sell our incurable psp..
    well it’s not as serious as that, it’s just that we are currently waiting for a date, not for the solution to download.

    Just before Christmas I had the choice of buying a PSP 3000 with the new screen or the PSP 2000, which was already established with CFWs.

    I’m so glad I bought the PSP 2000! I had the Datel battery shipped just in time for Christmas and created the MMS while I waited. I now have a modded PSP 2000, 2 4GB mem. sticks filled with movies, music, games and SNES emulator.

    I’m not the least bit sorry for not having bought the PSP 3000.

      I live in Canada and I could not find any places that sell a hackable psp 2k. They are have the new mobo. I did find a few sites but they don’t sell outside of US.

      Not all of us have the options to buy the hackable psp2k.
