homebrew only for CFW not for OFW ……
March 4, 2009 at 3:49 am
No one said otherwise. It’s pretty much given that you’ll need homebrew for the majority of these updates.
March 4, 2009 at 3:50 am
That was ambiguous. I meant to say CFW.
March 2, 2009 at 3:20 pm
Tried it with Paper Mario and Wipeout 64, both froze at the start
I think the emulator needs more work to be at least playable.
March 2, 2009 at 7:10 pm
Don’t be so jaded. There is huge improvement!!! Also, I think you picked one of like 20 roms that don’t quite work yet. Super Mario 64, SSB, StarFox, Mario Kart, Zelda Ocarina of Time, etc. ALL WORK! Try one of those and then see if there isn’t any improvement!
ALSO, THIS IS A BETA! This isn’t the final release! Stop Complaining otherwise they might stop releasing betas!
March 2, 2009 at 4:10 pm
i got it to work with Mario kart 64 it was slow at times and had to play it with the sound off but its getting there
keep up the good work guys
March 2, 2009 at 4:54 pm
still loads of bugs (no better than last version)…
March 2, 2009 at 5:36 pm
i think so to
zelda ocarina of time only worked the first time it just crashes now
paper mario crashes as soon as the game starts
pokémon stadium dosent work
the only games that work for me are
super mario
and
mario cart
until they fix this im staying with beta1

March 2, 2009 at 7:21 pm
For some reason i go to load Super Mario 64. it waits for a long time and shows some whit random text with some random green text on one line. What gives?
March 2, 2009 at 8:39 pm
faulty rom, worked for me. Just see the video i made.
March 2, 2009 at 10:56 pm
Awesome, Star Fox 64 runs smoothly, but I haven’t tried enabling the audio. Since I usually play my PSP in class or other environments where sound isn’t necessary/permissible, I don’t really mind.
March 2, 2009 at 11:35 pm
Well, I thought Mario 64 worked fine on Daedalus R14 with sound on, just a little laggy. I haven’t tried this yet, mainly because I end deleting Daedalus for something else… But I’ll try as much as I can to try this thing out.
March 2, 2009 at 11:45 pm
hahaha fixed my problem. I downloaded this i guess when the download file was being modified on here. the first file i downloaded didnt have the txt file saying downloaded from pspslimhacks. Super Mario 64 is alright…. things turn invisible a lot. Starfox runs really well. So does Mario Party 3. As far as donkey kong 64 and paper mario though…..
March 3, 2009 at 12:33 am
This is awesome, it runs great
(still looking forwrd to final)

March 5, 2009 at 7:58 pm
ok developers the whole reason we want daedalus is to play zelda ok get it? and i would greatly appreciate it if u came out with a daedalus that could play it with sound.cmon who wants to play a game without sound i mean like what the heck man give us what we want and let it run smoothly
March 6, 2009 at 12:36 am
Hey! Don’t be so pushy. The Devs are doing excellent work and deserve to be congratulated on their work.
BY THE WAY, I think you are the only one who wants this emulator FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF PLAYING ZELDA!
At first, I downloaded it to play StarCraft 64, but then I rediscovered all the great N64 games.

So you’re the developer’s boss or something? Because if you’re not, you’re just whiny and incredibly rude. They’re making AMAZING material here, not just for those of us who want to play OoT, but EVERY N64 ROM WE CAN GET OUR HANDS ON!
So quit the whining, and don’t say anything but a huge thank you to these guys once you can play your precious Zelda, which judging by the looks of things shouldn’t be too long from now.
For the record, I would cry tears of joy to be able to play OoT on my PSP, but I actually understand the amount of work that has to go into it. And I actually appreciate other N64 games too.
March 6, 2009 at 1:53 am
Uh, when I try to start a rom, the psp just sort of hangs. Is it a faulty ROM, or am I doing something wrong?
March 7, 2009 at 6:25 am
NO ONE CARES BOUT DIS.
March 7, 2009 at 7:03 am
good job guys keep it up, as others have said cant wait to play n64 on the psp it will happen soon

Hey guys… Did anyone get Zelda to run on it? At least somehow? I haven’t tried yet. I want to know if it works.
March 8, 2009 at 11:28 pm
I’m sorry, but just another meaningless update. I don’t want to complain, but you’ll have to explain to me how there’s really much of an improvement at ALL in SM64 since R13. This update is a step BACK; LESS roms work than the last update, there are still lots of random crashes after trying to load a rom and again I don’t see how SM64 seems to play any better.
Seriously, wake me up when this thing can play more than Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart. Every update just seems like an excuse to put something out there. I don’t see how Daedalus has really ever made serious progress in a LONG time. GRANTED, what we even have is somewhat impressive, but every update seems to make no difference.
Wait to release an update when something has significantly gotten BETTER…
March 10, 2009 at 6:58 pm
wow paper mario doesnt load zelda has no sound and a bunch of glitches and its slow just what game can this play seriously its just a waste of memory on your mem stick
March 18, 2009 at 3:27 am
It can play alot, you just gotta get good roms not all roms will work and as far as sound it’ll be glitchy its not perfected yet, and its reversed engineered to work on a psp it’ll be glitchy so stop bein a little dumb ass bitch and learn how to use this right and stop complaining! its not an N64 it wont run perfect get over it. Most of us have, this is a HUGE advancement from BETA 1.

March 30, 2009 at 11:32 pm
This emulator was pretty good, it worked well on Mario 64, hopefully more games should be supported in beta 3.
March 31, 2009 at 3:59 pm
its fery slow
March 31, 2009 at 11:08 pm
This kicks alot of ass, been comin’ around for ages, this is probably the 1st comment I’ve ever submitted. Just got pissed at all the whiners, JESUS, learn to work with what you have, guys. I personally love it, only removed it because it doesn’t play Castlevania: LoD. When they get that workin’ I think this may just be the only homebrew I ever need again.
April 3, 2009 at 11:40 pm
Zelda took forever to load and ran at a good speed but had graphical glitches and crashed in the middle of the intro.
April 4, 2009 at 1:36 am
how do you hack your psp???? can moeone help me….please
April 4, 2009 at 2:36 pm
I’d hate to break this to you but that isn’t running well. It’s laggy, jittery and has them minor pauses every so often which makes the whole thing completely useless.
i dont get why ppl are excited over this. are you THAT desperate to play old Nintendo games on a PSP?
April 6, 2009 at 3:25 am
Guys if no games work for you guys at all you really need to change the settings, right now I can play Zelda ocarina of time at almost full speed without sound, I am still playing around with the settings. I might actually get it to be 100% playable soon. Deadalusx64 devs keep up the good work!!!!!!
April 6, 2009 at 7:38 am
Just give this emulator time ingrates. It will make a fine addition once out of beta.
April 7, 2009 at 2:09 am

April 7, 2009 at 7:11 am
Can’t wait for beta 3!
April 7, 2009 at 1:52 pm
i tried that it didnt work
April 14, 2009 at 2:07 am
hey guys, thanks for all the hard work and all. i personally have gotten zelda oot to work on daedalus 13 or 14 though it had some problems with graphics and a little speed. haven’t tried it with this yet because i tried paper mario right off the bat and it bricked my psp. figures. haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet. anyways, can you guys please give special effort to paper mario and kirby crystal shards? kirby’s kinda lame but fun and i believe that paper mario is the best game ever for the 64. thanks guys!
