Custom Firmware Extender v3.1

Its back Cpasjustes . This great plug-in lets you change PSP CPU speed while in the XMB or in games, listen to your own music in-game, take screenshots, output the PSP screen to a monitor. And the best feature I think, stream ISOs and homebrew over USB. Its also does many other things to boot.

Ok. In the read me they forgot to mention that you need to copy the game.txt file to your seplugins folder.

    Not so good.
Only function I’m interested in right now is playing games while listening to music, but it’s not working.
First time playing the music, it played fine for about 20 seconds or something, then the sound went mute, & some of the direction buttons stopped working…
Second time, different game, When I tried to open the menu, the game just froze…
I’m going to attempt some more, maybe I’m doing something wrong, or I hope I’m doing something wrong!!

Ok, third attempt, it’s working :S lol
I still don’t know what I did wrong, but I restarted a bunch of times & deleted a game of the memory, freeing more space.

Working like a charm now :)

Installation @ README File Not so Helpful. It says… “Copy the content of the “seplugins” folder to the seplugins folder of your memory stick.”, It’s what I did… Can’t Enable it.

right chx08, after copying the contents of seplugins, turn the PSP off; not to stand by, off. turn it back on, holding r trigger. go to plugins and press x on the link of the program and it’ll say enable. it will work then xD

Having the same problem, it’s not showing up under the plugins sub-menu in recovery.

      Could it be a compatibility problem ? I have 5.00 M33-3.

      Thanks

I needed to edit my game.txt and add an entry for cfe, and also copy vsh.txt to seplugins.

Had trouble at first but you need to enable it like a regular plugin.

Put SEplugin folder to your root.

Add TM folder to your root as well.

open up the SEplugin folder and place game.txt & vhs.txt in there.

power off the psp, if you don’t know how to do that then just take out the battery and place it back in.

Turn on the PsP and hold r button.

Menu should pop up just go to plugins and enable both vhs and game.

exit the recovery menu and psp will start up again.

hit music key + r and your set.

guys i found a new trick one are you worry to overwrite .prx and .vsh because of your some plugins heres the trick just first you must back up all your plugins cxmb etc after that paste the folder of seplugins of Custom Firmware Extender v3.1 after that paste the game.txt and vsh.txt in seplugins and TM to the root of MS after that open the game.txt or vsh.txt of your plugin that you want to activate after that copy the content of it for example in cxmb just just open the vsh.txt and copy its content and go to seplugins and open the vsh.txt of Custom Firmware Extender v3.1 and paste it remember to have distance and walla go to recovery menu and you see the plugin you want to active together with Custom Firmware Extender v3.1 is can be enabled good luck ^_^

Wow works perfectly, simple to install (for me anyways) just put the contents of the seaplugins folder into the one on your PSP and add the game.txt file in their to or if theirs already one take out the text from it and copy it onto the old one. Next copy the text inside the vsh.txt folder and put it into the one on the PSP. All the other files put into the root (very top) of the PSP SSD.

Really does work well to bad Sony couldn’t of came up with this first but thats what hacks are for.

derek, your root folder is the main folder, when you connect your psp to your pc and open removeable disk, the folder that opens is your root folder
another way of knowing its your root folder is when your top bar on the window says removeable disk
