Custom Firmware Extender 1.81

Custom Firmware Extender 1.81

Cpasjuste has just released a quick update to his Custom Firmware Extender. Only to address a few bugs discovered since the release a few days ago.

If your not familiar with this plug-in is a firmware prx plugin that allows you to take screenshots, stream legal ISO / CSO’s files, shutdown/restart the PSP with the push of a button . Plus many other useful features.

This new version fixes a few USB mass storage bug fixes and a fixes a bug when Streaming ISO’s through USB.

Change log:

– Fixed a bug in usbhost iso redirection, now normal mode (umd inserted) is working great. No need to change anything in recovery, if you want more compatibility, just put an umd in the drive before using usbhost iso redirection, else do not put any umd. (thanks psp.padawan for our sharing)

- Fixed a few bugs regarding usb mass storage. (thanks madridi4ever for all the reports)

I’m having trouble figuring out how to stream ISOs with this release. I’ve installed the plug-ins correctly and I’ve added an ISO folder to the folder where I run usbhostfs_pc.exe on my computer. The problem is that when I press “note + L” to start the ISO streaming, I get a message that reads: “Could not get remote ISO list”. Can anyone help me figure this out please?

Make sure you have a folder named ISO where you start usbhostfs, put your ISO files in there.

Ok I got it working again, use 1.80 and use a UMD in the drive. Then it seems to work for me now.
