Xenogears and becus25 have released Custom Firmware Enabler 3.50. This latest update brings us some improvements and bug fixes over 3.30.

Can I run the CWCheat Plugin on my PSP 3000 with the Custom Firmware Enabler 3.50. I’ll try but don’t actvate the plugins. When I enter on the PLUGINS menu the plugins are OFF. Please anybody help me.

Instructions:
-download CWCHEAT rev D from its official page
-open archive and extract INSTALL folder (ignore all other)
-open seplugins folder inside of INSTALL folder
-copy cwcheat folder in seplugins
-paste it to SEPLUGINS folder (if you don’t have it then create it) into root of your memory stick
-in SEPLUGINS folder 3 text (.txt) files: GAME.TXT, POPS.txt, VSH.txt
-copy this to GAME.txt: “ms0:/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat/cwcheat.prx 1″ (without ” quotes “)
-copy this to POPS.txt: “ms0:/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat/cwcheatpops.prx 1″ (without ” quotes “)
-it is done, cwcheat plugin should be on by default – you can access menu by holding SELECT button for 3 secs

the second is to start chickhen r2, and then load a custom theme.

If you have FW 4.01, you need to upgrade to 5.03 in order to run chicken > then install Cfw 3.50.
PLEASE do not listen to K4rmin3 and assmunch. If you Upgrade to FW5.5, you will never able to play ISO game.

How to run PSX games using 3.50CFWE? Can someone please explain? I tried a couple of times by just putting the psx games into the Game folder. I am seing it in the XMB but when I try to run it I get an error message. Please help.

NO DO NOT UPDATE TO FIRMWARE 5,50……. it states right up top does not support firmware 5.50… just follow the directions word for word it works fine im runing this on firmware 5.03

to psp chick it might be the game itself that may not load the only thing that should be in the “game of your choice”‘s folder should be an “EBOOT.PBP” and a “KEYS” icons if its not those it wont work on this…. some games just dont work with this yet…… if thats not your problem you might of installed the popsloader wrong or somethiing

how do you install the popsloader correctly. ive been trying to install easy popsloader for 5.00 m-33-6. go to enable it in plugins, no plugins error. files all go to seplugins folder on ms root.

ok ever since i changd from GEN to this CFE, my resistance retribution infrastructure doesnt work – it gives me error code 8001000D (access denied) and i cant connect. i researched it and found something about changing the version.txt or something can someone help me out with this? id really appreciate it

gonna have to be more specific normal psp themes will work but other themes that make the xmb all fancy n such youll have to find out on your own just make sure there not flash themes…could brick your psp

find your plugins yourself, but you have to put plugins in ms/seplugins
But theres style in the way to install plugins. Search around in google, or go into tutorials.

Look….. This is so freaking easy that it is starting to piss me off having to answer every moron out there that lacks the ability to read. First…. ensure that your are running Official Firmware (OFW) 5.03. If you are not then update to it. The OFW 5.03 can be found on this website under the Downloads Tab. Second… Reset settings to default and choose english or latin 1 as the language. Third… Copy the chickHEN folder to your PHOTO or Pictures folder on the root of your Memory card. Fourth… Copy the H.bin to the root of the card. Fith… Copy Custom Firmware Enabler 3.** to the games folder found under PSP/GAMES. Sixth… Change UMD autostart and UMD cache to OFF. Seventh… Go to the photos, click on memory card, press right on chickHEN folder, wait for the egg in the box, press right and leave it the F**K alone. It will either flash pretty colors and reboot into chickHEN or it wont. If not then do it again, it could take a few tries. Eighth… When the PSP reboots into chickHEN (you can make sure by going to System settings / System Information) go to games and start CFW 3.**, flash and install. When it reboots you will be in M33-6 Firmware and able to run ISOs/CSOs, Homebrew applications, and much more. IF YOU HAVE OFW HIGHER THAN 5.03 THEN THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW SO STOP F**K**G ASKING. Just wait till they come out with something for that OFW. If you have any more questions, check out the tutorials at the top of this page. Just click the Tutorials tab and that will take you where you need to go, everything that I just wrote can be found there with pretty pictures to aid you. If any of what I just wrote is beyond your understanding then stop asking questions because there is probably no one here that can help you.

Hey guys, you don’t actually need to restart your whole system for plugins to work with CFWE. Just run the CFWE eboot then when it’s loaded, press exit. For those having problem with plugins not appearing in Plugins menu, just open your VSH.txt or GAME.txt in note pad then click on the end of a line then press enter so the cursor will go down to the next line and save. Example:
ms0:/SEPLUGINS/XXX.prx 1
l <– blinking cursor

and for multiple plugins
ms0:/SEPLUGINS/XXX1.prx 1
ms0:/SEPLUGINS/XXX2.prx 1
l<– blinking cursor

I Have PSP3004
and all i did was:
download and install OFW 5.03 (copy eboot.pbp to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE) and run it from ur psp
download and unzip (CHickHEN R2 for Firmware 5.03) and copy the ChickHen folder to PSP/PHOTO
Copy H.bin from that zip to the root folder of you memorycard
download and unzip Custom Firmware Enabler 3.50 for ChickHEN R2 and copy CFWEnabler folder to PSP/GAME
go to your psp, go to photos menu. memory card, and open ChickHen folder and let it load!
if shutdown, go to the ChickHen folder again to load the images again, this can take hours of try!
if you get color flickers and the psp restarts it means thats all ok!, now go to ur game menu, memory card, and run CFWEnabler Xenogears&Becus25, say install flash… yes … yes… and then he asks to restart the psp, after restart go again to that application (CFWEnabler Xenogears&Becus25) and put the settings the same as here: http://pspslimhacks.com/custom-firmware-enabler-3-30-tutorial/
now copy your ISO games to a folder named ISO on your root and play!

well this works fine like this and to lots of friends of mine.
the problem here is that this is not permanent, what i mean is, after all this, if the psp shutsdown, you will have to repeat everything… this is kinda troublesome for now right?
is there any permanent version? or this is just a bug on me and my friends?

Yes. Use CFWE3.5. You have to make an ISO folder in your MS Root. For PSX, place the eboot file on your PSP/Game folder.

You have to make an ISO folder in your memorty stick root folder. (Make sure ISO are all CAPS).

For PSX, place the eboot file on your PSP/Game folder.

You have to convert psx iso to an eboot file to play the game. You can try googling for softwares that do this.

firstly thanks to all who were involved in making this also after searching around i found a way to put gameboots and cxmb themes on the 3000 psp running this custom firmware you need a unofficial modded cxmb for the custom themes and for the gameboots you need a gameboot flasher i wil probably post links to these upon request these are for the most part safe (they didnt brick my psp 3001 at least)

CFWE 3.50 work fine. But i can’t get into plugins menu. I’ve have successfully flash pops modules but i can’t get into plugins menu. Whenever I try to go inside plugins it says “Error! Not plugins detected”. Someone mentioned about VSH.txt or GAME.txt re editing. But where do i get those file from?? I’ve search VSH.txt and Game.txt can’t find them on my mem card… Please help im Newbie here. Thanks… PSP slim hack…

I don’t think the UMD free region works? I have a UMD from Japan that came with my game, but my PSP 3k is region 4 for movies. Help would be appreciated.

I had to uninstall this version and go back to 3.30 due to lockups. My family has three psp 3001′s and they all would lock up if you open video, photos, whatever then open games. 3.30 works perfect.

Hey guys I am having a little problem and I could use some advice. I was using CFW GEN5.03-A then I switched over to CFW Enabler 3.5. It worked great up until recently. My PSP battery died and when I started it back up, loaded chickHEN R3, and when I loaded CFW Enabler 3.5, it didnt show the menu asking to load pops, etc. It just went back to the main PSP menu, and when I looked and the system properties it said 5.03 GEN-A(FULL). I restart my PSP and did the same process over and it still says the same thing. Any ideas what went wrong? I have a PSP 3001

this happened to me too then i just unistalled GEN-A using cfwe 3.30 its actualy better to uninstall so you dont fill up your flash

hold R while the CFWE 3.50 is loading. you will then see the uninstall option
