Custom Firmware 6.60 ME Beta 2 Released

Neur0n has just released the first Custom Firmware 6.60 ME Beta 2 for everyone to test. Its only working on PSP-1000 and PSP-2000′ that aren’t TA088v3+ Motherboards. While waits for some1 to finish his work on the kernel’s will won’t see any LCFW (Light Custom Firmware) versions that are for non flashable PSP version’s. Like the PSP GO and PSP-3000′s TA90 etc. That should be out in a few days time I would say

Its recommended not to try this firmware if you can’t use a Pandora Battery. Remember this is a Beta, so somethings aren’t working. . Like LEDA or popsloader. Firmware 6.60 adds nothing so really, its for those that just want to brag they have the latest firmware. I don’t even think there are any games that require 6.60 yet…

    Nice update, I am on a psp 3001 so Guess I will have to wait for a while. I am on 6.39 ProB9 for now. Most stable one there is so far.

    Nice neur0n. PSP’s are fully hackable. They will give up PSP. Now working on PSP Vita.

    Using CFW 6.60 Beta 2. Many plugins wont work.

      Well some1 had 3 kxploits back in 6.39 and Sony clearly did not find that buggy syscall that some1 had in 6.39 hence it is still exploitable in 6.60 OFW.

    I know that it’s a good progressive tool for getting past Sonys new security for 7.00 but Sony gave no motive to update except for stupidity. Anyways I envy Neur0n and Some1′s intelligence. GO PSP!

    does cxmb have an update for this..? I still can’t test it because my battery got busted so I can’t update… Trying to borrow from my friends so I can update to and test it myself… Been testing new releases of ME since 6.35 to know all the known bugs and report them… But now i can because I can’t buypass the required 78% battery level to update…

    I’m using the Beta3 version & a few plugins are working okay.
    So far LEDA does work fine, pprefs 1.131, dayviewer 7, boost v4c, bright, prxshot, mp3play_lite, & HMM are all working just fine so far.

    why did sony make this update. there were no added fetures. this does not fallow there normal update number system. the tenths means minor added fetures like the classic and orinal theme. whole numbers means major added feture like the psn at 5.00. this makes no sense of them.

    i downloaded the custom firmware but when i go to games icon to the memory and they show me the version 6.60 and like this and when i click they say this update is not complete … and then i downloaded the XMB instaleer but even though it doesn’t work please what should i doo ? :( please help i need your helppp
