Custom Firmware 6.37 ME-5 Released! Converted PSX support

Updated again: Custom Firmware -5 has been released which adds/fixes multi PSX disk support.

Neuron has released Custom Firmware 6.37 ME-4, which adds PSX support. Converted PSX games will now work.

– Supports the categorization in the iso folder with GCL.

has just made his 6.37 CFW one more step closer to greatness by adding ISO drives. It has two functions, UMD required mode and the ME driver which is with no UMD. This is the best of the new Custom Firmware releases we have seen as you also have a recovery menu, vsh and PS1 support (Titles downloaded via PSN)

Instructions are below.

First, you need to install CFW or HEN(ex. 5.00M33 , 6.20TN , 6.35PRO) in your .

1. copy UPDATE folder at ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
2. Put 6.37 official update at ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/637.PBP .
3. Run installer from xmb.

– features –
Hold R trigger and turn on the psp, you can enter recovery menu.
Hold Home button and turn on the psp, you can Boot OFW !!!!!!!

Add OPNSSMP option. Now you can run ISO without decrypt .bin ,if ISO’s required FW is lower than 6.37.
You can set this option at “RecoveryMenu -> Advanced -> Advanced Config -> Excute OPNSSMP.bin” .

Prometheus ISO Loader(PIL) seemed not support 6.37 . If you use PIL, need decrypt EBOOT.BIN .

ALERT: This is for PSP-2000′s only that can take Pandora batteries!!

    my i use hellcats recovery flasher to downgrade soft from 6.37 back to 5.50 ? or i have to use pandora batery and magic stick ?

    Like an idiot, I updated my PSP 3000 to 6.37 Firmware. So I was wondering if there was any chance of making a PSP compatible version of the firmware mentioned on this page.

      U will have to use a Pandora Battery to downgrade the firmware to 5.00M33 , 6.20TN , 6.35PRO and then use this Custom Firmware.

    Nice!
    But one thing to complain!
    When i upgraded form 5.00M33-6 to 6.37ME-3 my game saves got coruppted and that’s not so very cool
    If you could fix that I will upgrade to ME again :)

      That’s normal buddy, Even you have updated with the official firmware it will still corrupt your gamesaves. There are some tweaks around to fix that issue just google it.

        Normal? No not really i never had it before only on gen and they fixed it very easily so i dont see the problem buddy

      If its the hackable PSP 2000 then use the Magic Stick & Pandora Battery to downgrade it.

    I have a PSP 3000 ofw 6.37 and I want to play an iso game (persona 3 portable) but all the downgrades and cfw I’ve read about doesn’t say anything about my PSP version. I’ve downloaded some of them but they don’t work, I’ve even downloaded a GBA player to play other games (pokemon) on it but they say I need to downgrade my PSP but it doesn’t work, so plz tell me if it is possible to hack my PSP or not, and if I can what can I do to play iso’s? Plz this will be a huge help, any info will help me, thanks.
