    I have a psp 3004 with fw 5.50, haven’t used it cause i could not hack it. How can is install this CFW on my psp? does it enable me to run iso, cso games on my psp?

    Alright so I just picked up Dissidia 012 today and it wants to update to 6.37. Obviously I don’t want to do that and would rather stick with 6.35 PRO B3 on my psp 3000, but I do still want to play Dissidia. Do I have any options, or do I just really have to wait till something pr 6.37 is posted here? I appreciate the help, thanks.

    id like to upgrade my system to this, at present im using 5.50 prometheus-3 v4… can anyone post the step by step procedure in installing 6.35 pro b-3. just a newbie here. thanks in advance.

      Download OFW 6.35 and Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-B3
      1. update your psp to 6.35
      a. to your psp/game make a folder “UPDATE” and put the OFW 6.35 eboot in it
      b. extract rar or zip file 635PRO-B3 and put the file 635PROUPDATE to psp/game.

      2. To your psp start update first then the 635PROUPDATE

        ive downloaded both files and copied it just as you instructed.
        but when i started update to 6.35 … it says “your system software of your psp system is version 9.90. there is no need to update”
        by the way im using 5.50 prome-3…. need help. thanks in advance.

        @kurezu, run the 5.50 prome-3 installer again, it’ll probably have an uninstall type feature.
        after that you should be able to install that 6.35 OFW.

        wow, it actually works:p after searching for hours when I gave up I found a thing that works… or not, it says that it doesn’t support my fw(alot of numbersx):(

    I looked at the games dat is compatible with 6.35 B3 and WWF Smackdown was included and it didnt work. PLEASE REPLY AND LET ME KNOW HOW TO GET IT WORKING

    hello, i have a psp 3000 with its version 8.35 pro-b3. I just updated it from gen-c. My question is whether we can use themes and see photos directly without plugins.Coz when i was in 5.03 gen-c people told me not to put and see photos and not to change the themes as it cud get bricked. can someone tell me whether it is true that u cannot do so with this cfw on psp 3000???

    MY psp is 5.03 gen-c i would realy love to upgrade my psp as it is going to be more usefull but i am waiting for the 6.31 gen-A, B, C permanent patch

    I have PSP-3001 with firmware 6.35 PRO. i really wants to thanks VF and CB for CFW, and Prometheus who made
    Prometheus Iso Loader to loads ISO games..

    we can only play ISO games on that loader

    I have these games

    Fight Night Round 3
    Tomb Raider
    Alien Vs. Predator Requim

    GAmes and VSH menu is also
    Working Perfect on 6.35 PRO

    But

    Need for speed most wanted 5-1-0 is also not loading… My psp is restarted everytime..

    whats the reason….

      Yes, you can install 6.35 B3 fine and it wont brick your psp

    WHAT do I have to do to be able to play a PSX/PSONE game? I’ve tried several ways and looked up many videos, but none gave me a solution. I have a PSP GO 6.35 PRO B3 of course. Someone please help me out!

      Once you have the iso, bin, cue or disc image file of your ps1 game, search for the the program impaler psx. This software converts your game into an eboot folder that should be placed in the GAME directory.

        I actually found out how to do it about half an hour later, which is pretty much what you said except for the one difference that I place it in the ISO folder. This is what I did:

        Connect PSP to computer > go to ISO folder in root menu > create new folder in the ISO folder itself and name it after the PSX/PSONE game > put the EBOOT.PBP of the corresponding game in the folder just created > Grab your PSP and it should appear under Game.

        If the EBOOT.PBP file of the game isn’t inside a folder of its own, it WON’T work. At least it didn’t work for me any other way than that.

        Whoops, ignore the part where i said that I place it in the ISO folder, I put it in the Game folder as well.

    Hi, I bought my first psp, 3004 (slim) with version 6.31 Original Sony Firmware.
    How can I hack it, I got 50 games from a friend but can’t play them without hacking my psp.
    I don’t want to brick it as this is the only one i’ve got.

    i have this psp. i dont know the version it only says “PRO NIGHTLY” but that’s not the problem. i have a lot of psp game files on my desktop and i can only play around 20% of them. is there a plugin/app/patch etc that i need to do to be able to play these games?

    just copy all the files to the psp folder in app/games and paste disconnect your psp from usb and start the pro updater

    thats weird. 6.35 pro-b is definitely not permanent. how’d you do that? what kind of psp you have? as far as cfw is concern, there is no known permanent fw released for unhackable psp (psp v3 , 3ooo and psp go) until tn d came out.
    KAYA NGA MAY KASAMA LAGI NA FAST RECOVERY DAHIL HINDI PA PERMANENT OR LCFW PA LANG> NAKIALAM KA PA,’DI MO NAMAN ALAM SINASABI MO.
    obviously you know nothin about psp.

    That is because LCFW is still loaded in you PSP from its first installment on the PSP. When you LPD (Light Power Down = Turn Off) your PSP it will always be Permanent. When you FPD (Fully Power Down=Hold Power Switch up for 2 Secs) your PSP, you use the Pro B Fast Recover File. That is why it is Light Custom Firmware. I love it over Permanent CFW, in my opinion.
