Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-A3 is now out from Virtuous Flame. Its has a few fixes fixes in this release as listed below.

[!] fix GAME CPU frequency
[!] fixed number of comics, such as the goddess of sideways
[!] fixed under the 0×80020148 error
[!] fix some of the re-setting the packed illegal version of the game led to crash
[+] Add OPNSSMP automatically read features

Another update from Virtuous Flame, he has released Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-A2, this introduces a standby option to the VSH Menu. And fixes large memory support. Apparently in the other releases we still didn’t have all the available ram to use on Slim and Go models. Still no pops (PSX) support, I guess we just have to wait for 6.20 TN-D.

Virtuous Flame has released an update to his Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO. 6.35 PRO-A1 adds various bug fixes and a restart VSH feature. The translated changelog from Chinese is below.


Custom Firmware 6.35 PRO-A1 changelog:

-A1:
[!] fix order of ISO
[!] fix large memory support, and now we can unlock the memory 55M
[!] can not run after the fix into the UMD ISO
[!] fix USB Device can only be enabled once
[+] Merge HEN and installation procedures can be directly installed in the OFW
[+] Add Tekken and Soul Calibur patch
[+] Add key D9161AF0
[+] Add in the RESET VSH MENU

Features:
Support all types of , which -1000, -2000, -GO is strictly tested
Support the unlock 52MB of memory, has reached the level of the times 5xx
The NP9660 has a built-in and March33 ISO driver to support more games

    Can someone tell me how to install this? I have FW6.30 and I can update it to 6.35 if needed and after that do I install this cfw file same way as I istalled the FW update?

      you need to install FW6.35….
      download the 6.35PRo-a4 updater and fast recovery…
      download also signed 6.35 Hen….

      run the signed 6.35 HEN

      after HEN is installed…

      run 6.35PTO a4 updater… and follow the screen prompt.
      that’s it….

      if you wonder whats the use of the fast recovery…..

      whenever you loss power… or you shutdown you psp….

      run the fast recovery ONLY to install again 6.35PRO a4

      nope this only play psx games from psn the one you buy legally not the one you downloaded in the internet if you have one put in the game folder under psp folder

      you just need 6.35 OFW update
      place it in ms0:\psp\game\update\ then run the update. make sure your psp is fully charged

    why cant it work on psp brite 3k 9g, i install from the first A to the A4 and its still won’t work even though i get all of it right. It say it work on all psp, so why won’t it work

        It’s simple, OFWs, as the PSP hardware, ARE copyrighted material, so “unlock” (modifing, disassembling, reverse engineering, whatever) IS illegal. But I think it sucks, so I unlocked mine! : )

        Yeah, unlocking the thing may be illegal (Though usually no legal action is taken on Sony’s part), but its not Piracy.

        Actually they ruled that modification of any personally owned device is legal in the US. Started with ipods and iphones. it was ruled that if you own the device you can disassemble it, its software, operating system and etc. LEGALLY. Also you can tell other people how to do it. But you cant make money doing it.

    I have a quick question about this CFW. What happens if I were to run a legit copy UMD of the game? In physical form, which requires the version of 6.31? Cuz i have the game DJ max Portable 3, and i can’t seem to get it working with this CFW, and i was thinking what if this cfw supports original copies?

      well what I do is when i boot up the iso I wait for the first quick flash to happen from the memory card reading LED w/e it is, then as soon as it starts flashing again i put the psp into sleep mode, then wait a few secs and turn it back on ^^

    Funny how I never had a problem playing PSOne Classics from the PSN on my 6.35 Pro HEN anyway…
    In fact, I only have issues with PSN titles on 6.20 TN-HEN

    this is great i upgraded from gen-c to this just to see how it runs and i can tell you i am impress, iso’s run directly from xmb everything runs just fine and psn is working too just downloaded god of war ghost of sparta demo this is fantastic havent tested any plugins on it tho am about to do that right now :)
