Custom Firmware 6.20 PRO-B5 and 6.35 PRO-B5 coming soon

Update 20th April: Custom Firmware PRO-B5 has been released!

aka has posted he will be releasing Custom Firmware PRO-B5 soon, this is to correct bugs present in the PRO-B4 release. It will now have charging in 6.20 and updated inferno driver to support Patapon. Lastly the version.txt will support windows text editor line breaks.

 

We will publish PRO-B5, mainly for PRO-B4 in a number of bug fixes. Such as:

[!] Patapon run in Inferno mode

[!] Version.txt compatible with Windows line breaks

[!] 6.20 on a USB charging

 

There is also a new feature:

[+] Download replacing browser, you can download to the / ISO directory

    Will it fix the damn USB Mode problem? Where I have to keep pluging/unpluging the cable and going in and out of USB Mode for like, 5 minutes to get it to connect to the PC?

      try using another cable i had the same problem on my 2000 when i used a new one i never had the same problem again

    mine don’t do that but it has it in the bugs they manage to fix so yh u will not have that problem again

      Not so sure about that… It was present in the first release of PRO, and hasn’t been fixed till now :/. I have 4 USB cables and I have no troubles connecting to the PC on OFW or TN-D, its the main reason why Im not using PRO.

        My 4 USB cables are 3 PS3 Controller Chargers and a PSP USB Cable with the DC charger.
        All of them work fine on TN-D and OFW, but it just doesn’t work right on PRO. If this bug was fixed in the next revision, Ill gladly use PRO-B5.

    Installed on Psp Go, and my girls psp 3000. Working Great. Great job to the developers love the recovery menu. You’d figure there would be a popsloader available for this cfw wouldn’t you? I just hope I can finish chrono cross, and that final fantasy 8 works when I run it disc by disc, instead of one eboot.

    im a psp go owner.. from 6.20 TN-D i upgraded to 6.35 Pro B3 then downgrade again for 6.20 Pro perm.. all off theme works perfectly and i don”t mind if its permanent or not.. one thing i don”t like on both cfw.. is that both of them seems not have full support on “battery warning.prx” and “system observer.prx” either the game will not run (*****80D something error msg) or eventually crashes when in the game. we all know the psp go don”t have battery meter and thats the downside for us.. with the help of those plugins at least i can monitor my battery capacity and maximize the lifespan of my battery, as of now the only solution i have is to disable game plugin in recovery menu which sukz! what the use of installing a plugin that i cant use in the actual game…! Last thing i know when my battery life is below 2% if im not mistaken, it will automatically save state then shut down for some reason it does not work anymore.. i wonder why?.. if only i can use those plugin in any said firmware ill go for it…. looking forward for those plugin and more power…

      i think it would take a little bit to long… if your 6.35 downgrade to 6.20 if you want a permanent patch.

    I own a psp 3000 0.3g with 6.35pro b4 and want to downgrade to 6.20 permenant
    Pls help….
    Btw 6.35 pro b4 (though temporary) rocks

      use hellcat’s downgrader of 6.35 to 6.20 (search it in google because there is a downgrader) :D

    there is a prblem on PRO HACKS is that the kernal version 5.4 through 6.0 is working but 1 problem, when i adjust my xmb cso/iso and arrange them, it didnt work. please fix it. and also can you make some of and 5.00 m33 plugin works. and last but not least, can u make dayviewer, that would be an AWSOMENESS!!!!!!

      Day Viewer v7 works properly on 6.20 PRO B4. HOLD+v4 also has no issues. Only plugin Im missing is PSP Console.

    Guys, try changing the iso driver, the games will probably work then. Press select on the XMB and try changing to M33 Driver.

    When i used to have 6.20 tn d it used to crash about 8 times a day and since I update it to 6.20 pro b4 it doesnt crash anymore and I dont have to wrry abt Iso loader as well

    Still can’t get DJ Max Portable 3 to work. I tried Sony NP driver, M33 Driver and Inferno Driver. And for some odd reasons, my Skype still crashes once in a while in PRO-B4.

    I’m loving PRO-B4 though. A lot of plug ins are working great! Hopefully, everything gets fixed in B5.

  • There Is Some Other bugs to Fix

    6.20 PRO-B4 should be fix this bug :
    1- Hot Wheels Ultimate Racing (Its only Works on OE ISO drive )
    2- MX vs ATV Reflex ( It dosent even work )( Black Screen )
    3- TimeBatteryPercent plugin wont work ( The PSP shutdown and CRASH!! )
    4- cxmb pulgin wont work but the psp didn’t shutdown or crash.
    5- the ” Version.txt ” nothing changed .

    and at last all thanks goes to CoolBird and his team for this wonderful CFW

      CXMB plugin does work. Try putting it in the first line in plugins txt and add a 0 to the end. It works just fine on mine.
