Custom Firmware M33 6.20 Plug-in released.

No its not what you think, Dark_AleX hasn’t returned with Custom Firmware 6.20 M33.. Shame I know. However Sawaz has something for you users a plug-in that lets you play 6.00+ firmware games on your PSP without any patching and such nonsense. Its named Custom Firmware M33 6.20 plug-in and again has nothing to do with Team M33. Ok so install it like you would any other plug-in move “m33_620.prx” and “m33_620_user.prx” to ms0:/seplugins/ Now add the following line to your game.txt ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1

Thanks to BellA for the tipoff, otherwise me just might have missed this one.

      you so idiot man just copy m33_620.prx and m33_620_user.prx paste to your psp go to seplugins
      and you will see a note pad open it and add this ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1

      me too/same here!!!,
      some or almost all of ur savegame will be corrupt after enabling this plugin, but just disable it and it all be ok again(this happen maybe becuz im in 5.50gend3 not on 5.00m33-6)..
      this is good for testing new umd games with untouched/unpatched iso that need 6.20ofw,,
      if the game works use prxDecrypter v2.6a, so u will not need this plugin again..
      patapon3 demo still doesn’t work w this though =(

      you see 5.00 m33 firmware not cfwenabler 3.70

    It is a plugin for M33, it works for 5.00 m33 users not GEN, HEN, non of that. Just 5.00 m33 CFW.

    Okay, I’ve just tested it. Doesn’t work at all. Just gives you corrupted savegames and headache o.Ô I wanted to play as example Tekken 6- it started, but just a blacksreen. Does it work at somebody else’ PSP?

      i tink patched tekken6 only works on 5.50gend3 > im curently in 5.50prometheus right now.. when using this plugin with patched tekken6 ul just end up in blackscreen in 5.00m33, in 5.50gen/prometheus ul just have a corrupt savegame, but just disable it and ul have ur savegame back ^^,

      They will not for a while. If you ever see a new M33 firmware, expect it to be this plugin or a Dark_AleX poser.

    I installed it. Followed all the instructions, and doesn’t work at all. It still says, “This system soft ware of your PSP system is version 5.00. To start, you must update to version 5.03 or later. ” On different games it says, “To start, you must update to version 6.20 or later.” I don’t understand this.

    It actually works. Im running PSP 3000 5.03 GEN-C. I just installed the plugin and now i can play peace walker… Nice Fix!

    Doesn’t work i enabled it and i got to play KHBBS and i get:
    the system software of your psp system is version 5.00
    to start, you must update to version 6.20 or later.
    for update methods. refer to the intructionds for the psp system

    OK THIS IS A BUNCH OF CRAP! every method i try nothing works for peace walker it wont let me play my damn umd that i actually paid for! and i dont wanna update cuz im loyal to D/A i was around when his first CFW was released and i put it on my psp on top of that i need my 1.50 kernel i cant live without it so if there are other ways to get these games to play on 5.00m33 please feel free to enlighten me cuz so far prometheus <- doesnt work. This Plugin <- Doesnt Work i wanna play my game GAAAAHHHH!!!!

      dont use ctf theme it will brick your psp like my psp had brick

    how do i get the plug in to work i have put it on the psp correctly. i dont kno what to do next. if i put a und game in the message comes up that i need to update from 5.00 to 6.00. and i have the custom firmware 5.00 m33-6.

      You could try upgrading a little higher to a CFW 5.50 D3. I’m on a psp slim 2001 and putting in this plug-in made the game Blazblue to work perfectly. After countless tries on patching the game and finding workarounds. This plug-in finally managed to stop all the trial and errors. (Luckily i never resorted to going for any of Pro CFW)
