Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-A coming…

and the guys behind 5.03 GEN-A firmware for the PSP-3000 are working on Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-A. Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-A which will be out soon will give users the features of 5.50 but with the homebrew options of . Reading the translations from French its clear the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 are only supported at this stage. And we can expect to see a release before midnight Friday 12th (French time) And for the PSP-1000 (PSP Fat) 1.50 kernel add-on Custom Firmware for 5.50GEN.

PSPGen have also noted that they are working on 5.03 GEN-A v2 too, but 5.50 GEN-A will be released first. We’ll keep you posted.

    This firmware is only for hackable PSP. They got lost in the translation. THIS FIRMWARE WILL NOT WORK ON THE PSP 2000(TA-88V3) AND THE 3000 ON 5.50 !

    STUPID-ME! I updated my psp 3000 to 5.50 ofw…. LOL. Let’s hope they will release this on 3000, cause i’ve been waiting for any hack and thought cfw will be released soon…so i updated to newest ofw. Silly.

    damn it… I just bought a psp 3001, with rock band and god of war for $60. The other owner already updated it to 5.50. I guess it could be worse (5.51) but hopefully i don’t have to wait much longer. I do have a pandora battery and another friends psp 2000. I can’t do anything with that battery on this 3000 right?

    Pls i hv a psp slim and lite and it is a psp-2003 PB………………..i would like to if it’s hackable and i i can go about hacking it. it comes with a software version 3.60. And i do not have a pandora battery.
