Custom Firmware 5.03GEN for HEN – Works on PSP-3000

Check this out, apparently PSPGen will be releasing Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN for HEN, Its even working on ′s according from the translated post from French. Just check out the video for proof of . Its going to be released in the next 20 hours? To good to be true? We certainly hope not PSPGEN ;)

Edit: PSPGen have updated there site with news that its coming before Midnight french time. So not too long to wait. They have also posted a FAQ and installation video. See here.

We were unable to upload our previous version, the 5.02HEN-A, because it used a loophole that should not be revealed publicly. In addition, the previous version used the exploit found in the game GripShift and therefore could not serve everyone.

In recent days, the CFE has occurred but it is not compatible with the PSP-3000, which resulted in defeating a number of new users. Moreover, the lack of appreciation for the use of certain of our PRX Custom Firmware 5.02Gen has shown that the creators had no respect for us.

Against this background, we decided not to waste time trying to get this line of thanks and upload our own Custom Firmware 5.03GEN for HEN-A which is an update of the Custom Firmware 5.02 HEN-A-that our former developer, who unfortunately left the scene we had left (Reminder: Custom Firmware 5.02HEN-A dated 14 January 2009 and therefore prior to CFE).

Our new developer is called code GENyUS and does not officially be known because he does not want to be in the spotlight. He believes that everyone in his place, and a flurry of releases, questions and various existential dramas not interested. Thus, we will ensure that party (MaGiXieN specifically), while he will do whatever it seemed good to the scene ahead. He therefore resumed the work of Miriam and managed to find other ways to move forward. Note that the Custom Firmware 5.03GEN for HEN-A uses a completely original installation in the field but you will find at the public release. Note also that this CF5.03GEN-A is just the beginning …

      Yep, but it will work on all psp’s it seems. Even the PSP-3000. (Well when I say all I mean all apart from the PSP Go of course)

      PSPGEN is therefore going to celebrate the four years, today, by giving you TRUE complete and functional Custom firmware on all PSP including PSP-3000. Attention, to read the suite of the news is going to show you that nothing is impossible for PSPGEN!

      Our new developer carries the name of code GENyUS and does not want to be officially made connaitre because he does not want to be under searchlights. He thinks that each on its place, and that the torment of releases, questions and various existential dramas does not interest it. So, we shall assure this party (MaGiXieN more precisely), while what will make him that he seems to him good so that the stage advances. It therefore took back the job of Miriam and succeeded in finding other ways to advance. Note that this Custom Firmware 5.03GEN – in for HEN uses a method of completely original installation in domain but you will discover it during the public release.     and why is there a TV icon in the menu?
    you can watch TV on you psp???

      It is connected to a TV using PSP AV component cable, that’s why there’s a TV icon. Notice that the Spyro occupies the whole screen..

    I just hope they put something to patch the internet so can play games online as for all this i am actually quite impressed that they were able to do this but then again were in the age of technology and geniuses appear of of no where these days so thanks PspGen and thanks GENyUS as well as happy birthday PspGen and for more years to come

    Just a quick question – what differnce does GEN has, compared to CFWEnabler for us PSP-2000 owners?
    Is it worth getting the GEN or is it just the same thing as CFWEnabler but working for the PSP-3000?
