PSP Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6 Released
Dark_AleX has released Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-6. This same update is DAX’s attempt to correct the low speed Memory Stick issues that has been somewhat of a problem for some users since 3.71 firmware was released.

- Fixed a bug that made unbootable psp without memory stick or with a bad one.

i have a 3.80 m33-5 OFW n wanted to put 5.00 m33-6
so what i did was First uptade it to update it the OFW 5.00 [thought it need it frst before putting the CFW]
update of the OFW was completed and now when i want to update it to the CFW…i copied the file to the location PSP/GAME/UPDATE/eboot.pbp and again try to update it but it says “data corrupted”
i downloaded it twice n again the same message-as if the OFW doesnt recognise the CFW update file
BTW my iso n cso games cannot be detect anymore….
please help on how can i get it to work so that i can read the iso/cso n put homebrew apps on it

I need help
ive updated my old PSP Custom Firmware 3.80 M33-4
to 5.0 33-6
but when i tried to play my old ISO/CSO files, its not working … especially my final fanstay dissidia and other old games… screen just freezed at the while loading PSP SONY when i start the game… help pls :-/

I have downloaded this firmware and it has been successfully updated into my psp2000. however, i’m having problem playing the games.it keeps popping up “the game could not be started” (80020148). Please teach me how to fix it. many thanks

Whats ur OFW B4 installig CFW ?
If 5.03,u need :
ChickHen R2
how to install:
1. Download ChickHenR2
2. Extract files u will receive a folder find ur compatible location
3.Copy the Folder(ChickHen) containing 5 images.
4.Now, close USB mode, go to Pictures then ChickHen then Wait until it Flash colors, if not
Try again,,
Try This if u attemps more than 5 still dont work :
1. restore default settings. then turn off auto start UMD and UMD cache.
this will lessen the no. of attemps .

it was 3.90 M33 so i have downloaded the latest version and update it into my psp 2000. it is currently 5 MM3-6. however, the game cannot be started (80020148)
