Im a noob when it comes to PSP, can anyone explain to me how I can tell which PSP I have?? I notice some say PSP 1000, 2000, 3001 or mb TA-90v2….all I can see is that I have a ver. 3.80… what would be the best firmware to get in order to read most games?

I have psp 2000, and the original update 5.5 I want to play iso files, and I found the custom firmware 5.55…. If I install it, will it work??? Please someone tell me…… If 5.55 will not work, the custom firmware 6 will it work?
