Custom Firmware 5.55 LDX-D Beta Released.

Team LDX has released Custom Firmware 5.55 LDX Beta. And no doubt because of all the cries of it being a fake. But is it? That’s still unknown, however I did manager to install it, I can view the VSH and Recovery etc. But my Memory stick doesn’t read, I cannot run a UMD, internet etc with this CFW 5.55 LDX Beta installed. But so far we have gathered that they have released this unfinished beta as proof of the Teams Work.
Thanks to Shadowintel for the tip off & 2real for the translations from Turkish. So far from this beta a few things are working. For example, the LDX recovery and LDX VSH menus. But still not 5.55 Firmware games. This apparently will be fix in a few days time when they have a full release ? Now I’m not claiming this is 100% legit or anything but it is interesting and their has been some interest in this.
Below is a video I recorded installing this in my PSP-2000 (TA-85v1). Note I edited the video on the flashing part as this took around 1-2 minutes to complete. But after flashing I soon discovered that I can’t access my memory card, UMD or internet! Its very much a beta.

Installation instructions: (Thanks again to 2real)
You must have the latest CFW (5.50 GEN-B2) installed. Then he says you put the downloaded beta file into the GAME folder I’m assuming its in the UPDATE folder within that. Then you run it via the Game section in your PSP. When the installer begins you press X and wait for it to install. When it is finished your PSP will shut down and when you switch it on you should have the Beta CFW running

Fcuk msn everday i come home and find traces of this thred in my email inbox and its always noob’s saying the same thing “i wish they would hack the 3000″, “how do you hack a 3000″ or “can this be used to hack a 3000″ shit you guys need to fuckin read and do ur research. i myself have a psp 3000. one of them with 5.50 ofw on it and another with 5.03 ofw. i was able to use chickhen on both of them with cfw enabler and get my iso’s running. for you 5.50 3k users research the medal of honor exploit please, if u need help using that thats fine but stop askin questions and you didnt even research anything. u can easily get ur isos and homebrew working on 5.50 and 5.51 ofw if u use this exploit. that is all

this video shows you what you need, gives you the files and the readme is pretty straight forward. im not taking credit for this work im just saying this is how you do it. you do need a file called nitePR tho and another psp thats already running custom firmware on it i recommend getting a 1000 with cfw on it there the most reliable psps to run hombrew in my opinion. if u have a 1000 or 2000 and its not hacked try using chickHen and cfw enabler that should most likely get you going without having to use a pandora to touch your psp’ flash drive here are two tutorials that worked for me to get chickHen working 100percent all the time

No problem man. im still curious myself why so little people have used this to hack there 5.50 and 5.51 3000s psps. i guess not many people are sure how to use exploits or maybe its because it doesn’t touch the flash of the 3000. im gonna do a tutorial by Friday tho hopefully i can do it tonight when i get home its really pretty simple i’ll post up a couple videos though

sorry to bursts your guys bubbles, but this medal of honor heroes exploit doesnt even do anything. It could lead to another hen, like chickhen, but nothing has been released for it. All it does is show some random stuff from a dude calle kgws or something like that. It does’nt enable iso’s, or even homebrew.

well…. no i actually haven’t tried it i pretty much figured that the chickHen R2 would still work seeing as they both use similar expliots. i have my psp 3000 running 5.03gen-a and a psp 2000 running that i downgraded from 5.50 sorry for the miscommunication. but one thing im sure of is no one has tried to see if it would still work. the mohh crashes ur psp which its supposed to do. i will show a video though to clear up some things. there is one other method tho that i know for fact will work but it will void ur warrenty. you can get psp motherboard off of ebay for fairly cheap. i would order a brand new psp mother board or a mother board from a broken psp 3000 that way it comes installed with 4.01 firmware. up grade to 5.03 and your good to run hen

Dude this will not work the MOHH exploit will work but there is no e-loaders that are out that would allow for cfw to be loaded on to a psp with ofw above 5.03

There is in the works an e-loader that will work with the MOHH exploit for ofw above 5.03 this is an open source code prog so it is something that will take time to perfect so just hang in there guys.

honestly guys all though i have a 3000 unless your runing skype and need the mic theres no big difference between the 2000 and 3000 so what u have a slightly brighter screen big whoop lets weight in the factors shall we.
psp 2000 without v3 mobo
-homebrew galore
-(although you shouldnt unless you own the games) you can run iso’s
-you can flash your psp mobo with cfw (chickHen can be a pain in the ass to start up)
- most games work with the 5.55 and6.00 encrypter
psp 3000 with 5.03 gen-a
-have to boot chick hen each time you turn ur psp off (takes some people hours to get it running again)
-cant play all iso’s even if you own the game
-some homebrew wont work
- some games cause psp to crash (personal experience)
psp 3000 with ofw
-no isos
-no homebrew
-no freedom
need i say more? if your skype reliant and need the mic and have a 3000 with 5.50 then ur gonna have to wait it out unless you have the money to get a psp2000 without a v3mobo
if you dont need the mic and a SLIGHTLY brighter screen then sell that 3000 and get your self a psp2000 or even a 1000 if you dont mind the size

The Team that is bringing the e-loader is a name that we all know and trust from the team that gave us R1 and R2 yes Davie so because it is an open source code prog it will take some time to perfect just hang on. Think of how long it took before it was able to completely hack the 1000 series and it has been perfected so that the mods are permanent so dont rush progress.
