Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-D3 and 5.03 GEN-C for HEN are coming 15th Dec.

The Team GEN crew have posted on PSPGEN their progress on Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-D3 and 5.03 GEN-C, which are at the moment work in progress firmwares. Slated for a December 15th release (2 weeks away) the new firmware will focus on support for the PSP Go! Cam (using the eye of judgment), running games and demos that require firmware 6.xx, both PSN downloads and UMD versions. Also they will finally get the network updater running for GEN Firmwares. Something we haven’t seen working since the M33 firmware days… So we can just run the network update from our XMB and update to the latest release.

Yoshihiro is also working on the NIDS 6.0 support. So we might be able to run SenseMe and Digital Comics. So we just have to sit back and wait for some new CFW goodness pre Xmas…

        put the 550.PBP on the root of your psp then put the “UPDATE” folder on psp/game folder

    take the 550.pbp file and put it in the root of your memory stick and take the folder that says psp open it then there is one called game open that there should be another folder called update now copy that to the game folder on you psp

    My GvGN+ works, while my Naruto Narutimate Accel 3 doesn’t work. I still get Error game could not be started error.

        i heard that gvgn+ doesn’t work on gen c..if that’s true, then gen d3 is for gundam and gen c is for accel..haha. Maybe try using gen c bro

    I feel sorry for the people who has psp 3000 using chicken r2 its shit. When u have to shutdown the psp you must re-install the whole thing over and over. Well its okay since you could play iso, emu and others

    i am new to this stuff. i just bought a psp with Dissidia that came in the box, and i think its a 3000. I know it has 5.50 firmware on it. i just want to know ONE thing…

    if i use chickHEN and whatever else on it, and flash the files i guess, is there any way to restore the “official firmware” that is required to play Dissidia? i just want to be able to play both emulated games and Dissidia
