5.50 GEN-D was just released, however its not 100% bug free as some of us have discovered there is a Wifi bug in certain games. But hell its pretty damn good if you ask me, fixing up the mess 5.50 GEN-C caused. Nevertheless looking for more or less a perfect Custom Firmware 5.50 release. Yoshihiro has posted in the PSPGen forums that 2 is in the works, this is basically a bix fix release. No Eta on the release of this one. We’ll keep you posted.

1 : Fix Wlan TKIP in game loop : pes 2009 , fifa , motorstorm….
2 : Fix Video Output With 5.5X and 6.X
3 : Fixed recovery menu with make Pandora and make battery normal
4 : removed splash screen http://www.pspgen.com but you have another spash screen in red color for let you know if the decrypter work .

Update. It will be out tomorrow, 24th October.

    playstation store help. Thanx if anyone knows or have answers to this

    I was able to go in the plastation store but once i created an account it would not let me in anymore telling me that a system software update for u PSP is required. and it won’t let go in the playstation store any more telling me this shit. Do u know how to fix this prblem bc it was leting me go in without any problems and once i created the account is not doing it any more and is telling bout that software update shit. thanx man any help would be greatly apritiated the internect is working just fine

      sony blocked 5.50 in ps store,, you or we need to wait for an update or something that can bypass that security

        Wait a second it was leting me go in the plastation store before i created the account. What that means is don’t create any account in the plastation store or it will block u out. U will still b able to go in if u don’t create an account u will not be able to download anything but u will be able to get in bc i was geting in the store before i created the account and once i created one to download stuff is not leting me in now and saying bout that system software update crap. How can i go back to the way i had it before i created the account? That way without an acount I’ll b able to go in the store.

    i noticed in naruto that the loading time in d2 is faster than in b2.. i think everything is fixed now.. and improved also :)

    tnz anyway. but my 2001 after up grade with GenD2 hv’n some problem.sometime hanged & unable read memorycard even an old game like intialD. is that anything setting i wrongly setted or the way i upgrading wrong? from Afull – B,B2 – C – D & D2.
