Let's list what could have been done: 128mb ram, built-in camera, USB port with real hosting for larger external storage devices or even add on controllers, second analog on the right, and a few other good additions I'm sure others have mentioned. What did they do? They added a built in mic and a better(?) screen. The screen has hardware problems, so that's a bust. Glare is a minor issue and there are easy ways to counter it. So all we really get is an internal MIC and stricter security? Uhh..epic phail... The 3000 will be hacked. However, with the 3000 barely being worth buying, one has to ask if it's really worth the effort to hack? Apparently this is just a cheap resale of a more secure system with no extra valuable features. If SONY was smart, they would have offered significant improvements to spawn the creation of better games in order to drive customers to the 3000. I simply don't understand what they were thinking.
