Eboot 2 ISO Converter.

Fancy turning that PSN eboot you just downloaded into an ISO? Well you can with SuperFury’s Eboot 2 ISO converter. This handy little PC application can easily convert your eboot to an ISO file. So for example if you download FFVII from PSN and wouldn’t mind playing it as an ISO you can just convert it.

Bugfixes:
- Changed the way most of the files were copied. Instead of just throwing all the files, except DATA.PSAR, in the buffer and writing them to their corresponding files, they all use a 1MB sized buffer to copy their data.
- This means that the psn store eboots should work now, allowing them to be converted without errors!

Eboot patcher, patch games to work with 5.00 M33.

Ok so your still on 5.00 M33-6 and want to play some of your 5.50 or 6.00 UMD games on your custom firmware? Well now you can with mc707’s Eboot patcher. It basically works the same as Yoshihiro’s 5.55 & 6.00 games decrypter but for custom firmware 5.00 M33 and CFW 5.03 MHU

OK here’s how it works, First you need to open up your ISO you made from your UMD. Extract the games eboot. Use Yoshihiro’s 5.55 & 6.00 games decrypter V2 then patch the game eboot with this patcher and rebuild your ISO with UMD Gen 4. And your done. Enjoy your purchased 5.55 or 6.00 firmware game on your Cfw 5.00 M33 PSP.

PSP Game Decrypter v2 Released. Patch 5.55 & 6.00 Games to work on CFW.

Yoshihiro has released Version two of his Game Decrypter for PSP games that require firmware 5.55 and firmware 6.00 to run. This application allows you to patch the firmware 5.55 and firmware 6.00 eboots in order to run on custom firmware 5.50 GEN-A to B2. It allows you to also run 5.55 and 6.00 FW games on your ChickHEN R2 / Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A PSP-3000.

This latest version includes fixes so users should have less issues running certain newer games. There are report that CFWEnabler will also run some games. So try that first if you have it installed and if you do decide to use Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60, please uninstall it first!!

CTF Tool GUI v3.0 by patpat.

PSP Developer patpat has released an important update to CTF Tool Gui. You now have the option to make CTF themes that are compatible with PSP-3000’s running Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A. Custom Firmware’s 3.71 M33 to 5.00 M33 are supported and 5.50 GEN A to B2 too.

There is also new support for the pspboot_plugin.prx, which will load the pspboot.pmf when your psp boots up, (Place your pspboot.pmf into /vsh/resource/  – This beta feature only supports 5.00,5.03,5.50GEN-B2)

- Support pspboot_plugin.prx, it will play pspboot.pmf when psp boot, you just put pspboot.pmf into /vsh/resource/, press home can skin. only support 5.00,5.03,5.50GEN-B2

CTF archiver, Open and edit CTF themes with ease.

XanderChoas has released a very useful CTF utility which allows users to open and edit CTF theme files with ease. Just double click the file with-in windows and you can edit away. No more time consuming decompiling and recompiling the entire CTF in order just to edit or change one icon.

Release notes:

CTF Archiver integrates itself with Windows to let you simply double click on a CTF to open it. Not only that, but it integrates multiple XMB tools into Windows. Right click on a PRX quickly scramble/descramble it. Double click on an RCO to open it.

Now, a few things before you download it. CTF Archiver is the result of ThemeXtra, which is sadly still in the works. This program’s original title was “DTA Archiver”, reflecting the ThemeXtra file format. The long road I’ve been down with Davee and Bubbletune, following ThemeXtra’s progress, doesn’t appear to have an end. So I decided that I should just release this with support for CTFs instead of DTAs. As a result, you’ll see the word “DTA” a lot. Just pretend it says CTF or simply isn’t there at all. Maybe one day you’ll get to see the true wonders of TX and the DTA format. But for now, enjoy this release.

Note: The installer is bundled with the required 4.01, 5.00, and 5.50 PRXs. You’ll need to get the PRXs yourself with the binary download. And no, the “Password” tab does nothing. It was designed for the DTA format, which supports passwords.

CXMB for 5.50 GEN-A revised and re-released.

Matchung has done some work of his own on unofficial CXMB for custom firmware 5.50 GEN-A, improving it as its reported to work much better now. Not to mention that it now properly lists the themes under the [Settings]. Also included in the archive are ctf.exe and unctf.exe. These are used for decompiling and recompiling CTF themes.

Andy maN and the FuSa Team have released FuSa GamePad v0.2. FuSa GamePad turns your PSP into a gamepad for your PC or Mac. Just run the application and then connect your PSP via USB.
