AhMan has released an update to his homebrew application iR Shell, the PSP shell replacement. This release brings us new PlayStation Network title support. There is also an option for disabling Magicgate protection in order to speed up access times on non Magicgate memory sticks.

Nick has released an update to his PSP Video Converter called err PSP Video Converter… Or PSPVC for sort. This version 3.42 kills a rather nasty bug that would slow video conversions down to a crawl. Also present are a few other bug fixes.

Datel have told Portable Video Gamer that Sony is taking legal action against their lite blue tool. The tool advertised to be able to hack the PSP-3000. This answer came just after Portable Video Gamer asked Datel why the Lite blue tool was removed and later the description changed.

Dark_AleX has updated his Despertar del Cementerio tool to version 8.
This will now allow users to create MMS sticks that go directly to 5.00 M33-4, which appears to be the only change from DCv7.
Note that this will NOT work with PSP-3000 models and those with TA-088v3 motherboards, despite the new TOOL battery from Datel.
