Another jump in builds for JPCSP, the PC java based PSP emulator. So more tweaks and adjustments have been applied to further improve the emulators speed. If you want to try running a few of your PSP games on your PC then this is really the only application to use.

Tecmo have today released a playable Japanese demo of their game: Undead Knights. This demo also works on Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN A-B2 with the version.txt option on. So no need for Firmware 5.51 or 6.00. So just like the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Demo.

Bad news for PSP Custom Firmware owners I’m afraid, as TheSixthAxis has reported that the Gran Turismo UMD / Download requires firmware 6.00. And of course Gran Turismo will only run on Firmware 6.00. So if your on custom firmware, your out of luck. At this stage your forced to upgrade to official firmware 6.00 [...]

Alek, the forum admin of dark-alex.org has set the record straight on their PSPWiki site. That Dark_AleX is not leaving us and quitting the PSP Scene. Also that the Dark-alex.org forums were closed due to costs. Not for other rumored reasons.

More of a re-release than something completely new, nevertheless Sektor brings us Flashback / REminiscencePSP NeoFlash Edition which features some tweaks and improvements, plus level/language selection code over rlyeh’s REminiscence v0.1.9 port. Which was released about a year ago. Its based on Delphine Software’s Flashback.
