Amiga PSP Emulator: PSPUAE V0.80 Beta Released

Share

Its been a long time since PSPUAE was updated (Over two years!), but its never too late and the Commodore emulator just got a boost with AGA chipset support. I’m a huge fan of the . PSPUAE is still a bit flakey in AGA, but its a step in the right direction. So games do run quite well, but AGA ones will be quite slow without sound. Normal adf games run find using older chipsets.

If your not even aware of the Amiga, then I guess you weren’t an 80′s child. The Amiga was “the” computer to have back in the late 80s and early 90s. Way ahead of its time, it had some of the best games to date. Cannon Fodder, Shadow of a Beast series, Pinball dreams, Silkworm, Turrican series, Lotus series, Speedball etc etc.. Many of the Amiga’s games are now also being remade as PSP mini’s

If your also into the great music the Amiga games had why not checkout Amiga Music MP3′s (AmigaMusic.com)

Tips:

You need a working Kick Start rom version 1.3 to run most games. Name the Rom KICK13.rom and place it in the Kicks folder inside the emulator. Adf game disks do in the disks folder.

Yes, they used to call it a kick start. Its like a bios if you will.

Wow, never thought there’d be another update for this, or gpSP or MasterBoy for that matter (to a lesser extent though), it’s great they are still updating their emulators!

As always cheers for letting us know so quickly PSPFan.
