Forum member Skyline969 has released another all-in-one installer this time for PSP-2000 & PSP-3000 users who are looking for an easy all in one Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A installer. Its straight forward an easy aimed at new users who can let an install do all the work for them. All you need to do is point the installer to your PSP memory card.

All-In-One 5.03 GEN-A Installer! Included is all the tools you need to get your PSP to boot to 5.03 GEN-A custom firmware. Keep in mind that if you shut off your PSP or lose battery power, the firmware is gone and you have to re-load it (but NOT re-flash it). However, to work around this, just put your PSP in standby. It won’t hurt your battery, no worries.

ChickHEN R2
5.03 GEN-A Installer/Loader

      yeah….u can use it…
      but uninstall cfwe first….

        Actually, I used both CFWE and GEN-A both installed, nothing happens except if u install GEN first, the vsh menu for gena is used, even if u installed the CFWE after this and vice versa

    cause i have a psp 3000 with ofw 5.50
    and i was so stupid enough to update it
    and i just had 5.03 a few months ago

    someone should make a stable chickhen loader so we don’t have to take all the time to load it everytime our psp shuts down.

      Impossible, as it is the Tiff exploit which is unstable.

    can i copy the files into the desktop or a diferent folder
    cuz i used the other instaler for psp 1000 and psp 2000
    now it doesnt turn on without the ac adaptor the batery still charges but doesnt turn
    is the batery wrong or the psp

    Man, what a bummer. Everyone is working hard for a lot of programs to make easy hacking PSP but nothing for 5.51 yet. Lol.

    I can see this method of putting your psp in cfw means you cannot shut your psp down. The very same is with the CFWenabler. But is there a way to set CTF themes on one of these 2 methods?

    HI im new to this psp hacking. i have a psp 3003 and ive done the chicken r2 and have a loader to make it into gen-A and on the same memory stick i have cfwe 3.60 and 3.50 ,ok, when i run the cfwe 3.50 in my system psp system its says 5.03 m33 and when i run the cfw 3.60 its says in system 5.03 mhu 1, whats the differents ? and 2 , i can play EBOOT games when i run just gen-a but not ISO OR CSO .when i run the cfwe 3.50 or 3.60 i can only play ISO CSO ive tryed to play the EBOOT but it just turns off the psp , so i have all of this on me memory stick is there a way of combining them ie; (WHILE IN chickHEN ) can i boot up gen-a and play EBOOT games then without turning my psp off and starting again change it to cfw 3.60 or will that brick my psp ??? ive found this very intresting and am happy playing all the games since cracking it this is as far as ive got from hours of reading and testing but i dont know if i can run one over the top of the other
    PS. Also when running cfwe 3.50 i saw on a website that the person had to push select on the psp and change the setting from normal to m33 driver im wondering do i have to do that evey time i flash the drive from swiching from the loader (gen-a) back to 3.50 ???

      By refering to eboot, i assume you mean psx eboots? have you tried adding popsloader? that solved my problem instantly (when i had a 3000). just remember to use pops 4.01 before using the others, to avoid any problems. after it was all said and done, i returned my 3k for a cash refund and bought a 1001 (gamestop has em for under $100) and promptly flashed it with 5.00 m33-6. i couldn’t stand the chickhen method, way too tedious for me.

    got 5.03
    went into chickhenR2
    flashed GEN
    pushed O
    but it will never reboot in GEN!!!!!
    any advice?

    I Installed Skyline969′s All In one 5.03 GEN-A in my PSP 3000. I did the hack process with no problems, but my PSP is no showing games in the Memory Stick when I try to play them. This option only shows the INSTALLER-LOADER and the Refresh icon. I changed “UMD Mode” to “M33 Driver”, but it didnt solve the issue.

    Please, is there anything else I have to do?
