6.37 ME-6 and 6.35 Custom v17 CFW updates from Neur0n

The updates just keep on rolling from ’s as he updates both his and Custom Firmwares. First up is v17, which adds a format flash0 and flash1 option and fixes a bug in the VSH menu. Remember this only for PSP-2000 models that aren’t TA-88v3′s and can take a Pandora (Tool) Battery

And now 6.37 ME-6 Custom firmware has been updated. This update includes the same fix and the recovery option. Downloads are below. Keep watching this post for future updates.

      @cyberangel22k why would would you let this CFW to have pops support?
      6.35 PRO B2 has pops and a recovery menu also a large plugin
      support but if you are using 6.37 ME then sorry for the suggestion i wrote

        i like it because i can use psn flawlessly just like OFW. If you use this CFW, it has a vsh menu with xmb, game, and pops plugins just like m33. but like the release said. these are all not “yet” available. Besides, I know it’s still not fully functional. i’m just one of those who are early testers.

    I have a PSP slim running firmware 5.00 m33-6.

    Havent used my PSP for some time and I am not updated on which firmware I should update to.

    So…. Which firmware should I update to? :)

      Dude , if your PSP slim is a TA-88v1/2 go for 6.35 CFW Beta or 6.37 ME both by neur0n they have psx , plugins and full iso support and if your silm mobo is higher than this , go for 6.35 PRO -B2 or you can give that 6.20 TN-D perma a try , be warned it may lead to a brick .

        lol no i no wat u mean, i thought my PSP was bricked 4 about a week, then i realize i 4got 2 install the MMS files, now it’s all good, i dl this CFW n can play lots of games now :D D

        I don’t see why all the risk should rest purely on my shoulders, as end-users we should feel more comfortable about applying such updates to our systems. I’m not whining, I was just distressed. I am grieving perhaps.

    True 5.00 M33-6 is more stabled so if you have a PSP 1001 (Classic PSP Phat) stay on 5.00 M33-6 or 5.50 Prometheus. The very same games you all play I play on 5.00 M33-6 due to patches and there is absolutely no problem at all. The only thing I have trouble with is loading my Gran Turismo data whenever I update and downgrade my PSP. Data gets corrupted every time causing me to restart. Once a signed 6.3x CFW for all PSP models release then I’ll give it a shot. 6.35 PRO-B doesn’t have a permanent stay on PSP 1001

    Hey guys, is the psp 3k’s best CFW so far still the prome-4? I’ve seen so many releases that im confused already, since i’ve only been using my prome-4 lately, but i wanted to know if there was already something better.

    When i say better i mean, with more compability with games, AND psx game’s support! If someone could help me i’ll be really gratefull

    Can someone please rewrite this so that the r trigger is the install trigger? My l trigger does not work and I dont have the knowledge to do it myself……….I want to do a permanent install of this but I cant because my L trigger is broke :(

      trade ur psp go/300x for a more easily hackable psp 200x(ta-88v2-lower)/100x rather than demand for something that cant be easily done on those said unhackable psp’s……

      and now that NGP’s out they’d probably slowly migrate to hack NGP next….

    6.37 ME still doesn’t have POPS plug-ins support to be able to change POPS versions until than I’ll be using 5.50 GEN D-3 for PSP Hacky 2K.

        Fuck the perma patch. It doesn’t let me boot any PSX games at all, where as the normal (real) TN-D does… Since my PSP is hackable i would rather see a pops implementation on either of neur0ns CFWs.

        As for all the other whiners with unhackable PSPs, you should really read up on whats possible and not instead of crying out in public and demanding what people cant deliver.

      Look for the Ultimate VSH Menu that supports 6.35PRO and 6.37ME. Install it. When its done just select the driver other than “Normal”…Or you can go into recovery menu and change that. I don’t know about 6.37 ME because it can’t be installed on PSP 1001 as of now. Waiting on a “Supports all Models” version of this CFW so I can get to play FTB3 lol

      You’ll have to wait, roughly 12 months but could be less, round 7-8 months with a stroke of luck :) sorry, hope this helps.

    not one of my psx games work i formatted all the flashes and reinstalled 6.37 but non load they go back to xmb same with 6.35 what is the problem anyone else having this problem

        i figured it out the eboots of psx games just need recompressed and then they will work

        yeah i did… but its not only the iso’s its the homebrew too; such as mobile assault, but really its not the big of a problem i can handle it.
        iso tool seems to do great at reading the iso for me :D

    At the moment I have 6.37 official firmware and I don’t have a Pandora Batter and Magic Memory Stick.
    And yes I have a hackable PSP 2000.

    would my saves from 5.50 prome/ 5.00 m33-6 prome be compatible with this?
    i remember my 5.50 prome saves wouldn’t work on m33 til i got prome on that. the progress on this cfw looks great so far, but i don’t want to go through the hassles of upgrading then downgrading when 20 of my saves don’t work.

      Yes this one is a permanent flash solution for fully hackable consoles.
      PRO-B3 is “virtual” CFW which is nulled if you reboot or shutdown the PSP, but is usable on newer PSP units.

    Nevermind, I just fixed my Slim with Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher. I used my Phat to make a Pandora and Magic MS. Now I might try to get this CFW the right way.

      for now you can use Half-Byte Loader.. but it can only play homebrews. not sure if there are any iso loaders yet for 6.37..

    Hi I have a psp 3004 Slim with version 6.37 on it. I am a total NOOB and is wondering if i can mod it to play downloaded games without cds. From what i read i think there are some ppl working on it at the moment, but im not sure if the software to hack it is readily available. Someone please clarify for this for me.
