6.20 TN (HEN) now has 90% Homebrew support

Update: 16/10

has possibly posted his last update on 6.20 TN () for a while it seems. As he goes back to school, leaving little time for his work. However he has again confirmed that it will be released before Christmas. And will work on it when he has time in the weekends. Here is is last update on his progress:

- Added sctrlKernelSetUserLevel, now you can run VLF homebrews!
- Added sctrlKernelSetDevkitVersion
- Cleaned up the code

I haven’t expressed clearly, I’ll release the HEN before Christmas, but you’ll not see many logs anymore, because I’m busy in life;)

More good news via Total_Noob’s update blog and a new video to boot. His kernel exploiting now has 90% homebrew support. He’s making good progress, thanks to the help of Davee (ChickHEN R1 & R2 creator) The above video also gives us another glimpse of the HEN being run via and running various homebrew games. This time its on a PSP-1000 aka PSP-Fat. Oh by the way Total_Noob, is still looking for a donor PSP Go as his current donor fell though. (His folks said no, lol!) So if you want to help out, get in touch with TN on the below link.

15 Oct 6.20 TN (HEN) update:

- ParitionCheck has a new structure, fixed (now you can load unpacked prxes), thanks to Davee!
- One patch of ModuleManager was not right, fixed (now you can run all homebrews), thanks to Davee!
- Added some systemctrl exports

    i may be able let total noob borrow my psp go but im skeptical about letting people borrow my stuff espicially if i dont know him and i like to see who i’m letting borrow my stuff so i wouldnt mail it, but i’ll think about it. i can guarantee my parents what say no if i asked. but i care what they say there not me. they dont control my life and i havent listend to them since i was 10 and its my psp so i do wat i want with it. althouugh this doesnt change the fact idk if im ok with letting some guy borrow it. sure hes doing alot for us doesnt mean i can trust him. i’ll just say this if no one else will i will but only because i want to have cfw on my psp and he obviously not lying about cfw on 6.20 he seems trustworthy. i’ll send him an e-mail

      do you live in your parents house? Legally they can tell you whatever they want you to do with your psp, even if you are over 18 . Some people just need black parents….or parents who learn not to take crap from their ungrateful brats…

    It won’t be long now guys, few more weeks I guess it will be ready!
    But I’m still not sure if there would be a CFW soon as the codes needs to adapt the few addons since OFW 6.10.

      haha. Well since this 6.20 TN runs on the HBL Exploit and this HEN runs kernel homebrew yes. Cause downgraders can be homebrews that can run on HEN.

      No, coz the PSP 3000 CPU does not support downgrades

    I hate PSP Go’s – I mean no UMD drive shouldn’t mean a GO should cost more than a 3000. Does anyone know where Total_Noob lives cause if we find out we can find someone living in his country it would be easier for him to borrow and return it.

      not so soon coz the firmware 6.xx has some few addons like digital comics and more therefore the codes has to adapt the psp’s new features.

    for all you of ask “will i be able to load isos?” the answer is NO Total_noob does not support piracy so if you want iso/ cso support you will have to wait for somebody to release a CFW.

        So we are that step closer guys. And we need to see if someone can make a downgrader homebrew for 6.20 – 5.03 or an ISO/CSO loader would perfect it.

      No, official release. So no 6.20 TN (HEN) hasn’t been released. Any link is just a fake and could even brick your PSP. We won’t see any release till December….Patience people!
