6.20 TN-E Permanent Patch *Update: v2*

Coder Frostegater releases a patch that applies permanent mode to by , so this will install you the 6.20 TN-E (HEN) into internal flash and every reboot the Homebrew enabler will be installed automatically into your internal flash.

Warning: There have been cases of bricks, but even on the Go some Users were able to install it correctly. Needless to say, I do not recommend to anyone who did not use the PSP compatible with Pandora and MS! PSP Go! assumes no liability for any damage to the console.

Installation:

1) Download the archive.
2) Copy the directory “TN_E_PermanentPatc” to “PSP / GAME /” on your Memory Stick or PSPGo! System Memory.
3) Launch the homebrew from your PSP.
4) Press X
5) Press O

1)Skip coldboot
2)Return of final test
3)Change Delete button vsh.txt, game.txt, pops.txt, version.txt in /seplugins/ on UP
4)If recovery.prx lies on a memory card, then it is loaded from there, if not, then it is loaded from the internal memory PSPgo, if not, then it is loaded from the flash0
5)To copy recovery.prx in flash0, put it in a folder with the installer and install the patch.

      From my experience with perma patching, anything below a psp Go should be fully patchable without brickage unless you messed with the flash 0 beforehand but you should always preform the test first.
      ( I sell hacked psp’s to the locals and they lack in the common sense department. Thats why this is useful to me. )

    pro-b5 is way more better than this, pro-b5 has no risk of brick in you’re psp and it has a built in iso loader, plus it has a recovery menu ;)

      Lol who says PRO-B5 has no risk of brick? :D Can you install PRO-B5 permanent patch on a 9g module PSP w/o bricking it? Use your brain dude :)

      In terms of ISO loading support Pro-B5 is way off better than TN-E, but in terms of plugin, homebrew, and PSX support TN-E is much much better than Pro-B5.

        Greetings, you’re wrong, in terms of PSX homebrew is 100% support. In fact you have to rebuild the psx games with PSX2PSP v1.4.2 because the old PSX games are mounted with old popgui and not properly function on 6.35 PROB-5. I tested all Tomb Raider, Tekken 2, Parasite Eve 1 and 2, Dino Crisis 1 and 2, all Final Fantasy from VII to IX without freeze, Metal Gear Solid and all Resident Evil too. My Black pspGO love it. 6.35 PROB-5 with INFERNO driver rules, Meanwhile another improvement comes

    Popoisher what do you mean by TN-E has better psx support? I thought that 6.35, and 6.20 pro b5 only had 6.20, and or 6.35 pops plugins? does TN-E have popsloader support? That’s one thing I had always been pissed about in the pro series. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated thanks for your time guys.

    Oh, and I’m Not a total noob, but somewhat far behind on the scene. I always find out about things like this way after they even come out, it sucks! I had no idea I wouldn’t be able to to use popsloader, before I sold my 2000, and picked up the go. D%^M the go has amazing visuals though.
    I feel so spoiled since I got the Psp Go. It’s a little hard spamming the r trigger on the 3rd birthday though.
    That’s why everyone needs a 3000, and a Go. I suppose the 2000 would be necessary for *&^%$$@ popsloader! it seems… which pisses me off, but I don’t even wanna talk about that anymore.

    So I’ve got a problem, won’t let me uninstall perm TN-D to go to perm TN-E, they both sit at Initializing flash rw… when I run either of the patches

    Alright so the only thing bad I can say for the prometheus loader or TN cfws is that on Castlevania X it sits at the loading screen and doesn’t go to the orig version of Castlevania X nor does it load symphony of the night from within the game. It was the same on TN-D, not sure if thats because of the ISO loader or from the firmware itself. It works fine straight from the UMD, only has problems from the ISO. Anyone else have this problem or know a work around?

      IT’S PROMETHEUS. USE PRO-B5′s INFERNO DRIVER. IT PLAYS NEARLY 100% ISO/CSO. (YOU DON’T NEED TO MAKE IT PERMANENT TO USE BOTH. JUST RUN THE PRO-B5 UPDATE {NOT THE PATCH} WHILE ON TN-E, AND YOU CAN USE PRO-B5 TO PLAY WHAT YOU COULDNT ON TN-E.) THAT’S WHY I USE BOTH. [3001 3g] P.S. DO NOT MAKE EITHER PERMANENT. I NEVER TRIED SO I DONT RECOMMENDED IT.

      Turn off your Caps Lock, seriously. I’ve never had any success with Castlevania X’s SoTN and Original RoB mode with the ISO, whether on Prome, aLoader, OI, M33 or Inferno Driver. Works just fine on UMD, but no luck on the rip :/.

      6.20 with TN-E and promethous ISO loader works fine for it, online too

    This firmware removes the iso function to play iso. I loaded the iso loader that does not work either. This firmware needs more work in fixing out the bugs on psp games. Crash bandicoot crashes ps1 game. That a eboot file. I’m going to stick with 6.20 perm b patch works great.

    @NEWGUY……..even we started first test and test was success full..so i hade a permanent patch….after 15 days my psp was bricked cuz i enable skip sonylogo….! IT WAS A HALF BRICK THEN I GONE TO RECOVERY MENU UNFORTUNATLY MY PSP FREEZED ….and it was permanent brick…its all in psp 3000 so guyz dnt have permanent patch in 3000 series……

    I’ve done both the Perm patch TN-D and TN-E on a psp 3000, no bricking… I don’t know what people are doing wrong, either they can’t follow directions or have no business poking and prodding their psp in the first place

    I downgraded 6.38 to 6.20 then did this perma patch but i didnt work. Then i did the 6.20 Pro b5 perma patch and it worked. TN should look over this perma patch because not a lot of people got bricked while doing the pro b5 perma
