5.00 M33 released
Quick to fix the introduced bug in M33-2 DAX has released 5.00 M33-3!
* A bug was introduced in 5.00 M33-2 that made some games and homebrew to not work.
* PSN version check is now automatically bypassed without the need of touching any settings.

Is popsloader working for anyone with this firmware? I installed 5.00m33-3, the FATMS patch, and popsloader500 all at once, so I’m not sure which one’s screwing up…

there wont be a 5.01m33, hes skipping the number most likely. Cant blame him for a number. Anyways the features will always beat whatever number there is. Numbers are considered useless

the patch didn’t work it finished and everything but the homebrew games that i downloaded from the ps store (DEMOS) didn’t work

anyone in jalandhar(india) who can do the custom firmware thing for me or give me a pandora battery to do the job. or just give me the easiest way to convert my version 5.01 to the 5.00 M33-3.

Is this worth getting? I’m not too interested in using the psp store. And I don’t use my psp to game online. But, if it runs the emulators better than I might reconsider.

Can this be put onto a retail PSP Slim and still work without any hardware mods? I am thinking of using the 3.80 M33 Easy Installer.
Please email me the step-by-step guide to modding using both Easy Installer as well as if it can be done with 5.0 M33-3. Also what are the differences between them.

Ummm…..When I install the update, do I have to delete the games on my MMS?Or do I just leave the games on the MMS and update?By the way my unit is a PSP slim running on CFW 4.01 M33-2.Plz reply anyone.

I am hoping also that I can downgrade my 5.01 update to this 5.00 m33-3 update but then I can’t.

I have psp slim 2001. Installed 3.71 m33-2 then upgraded all the way to 5.00 m33-3 PSP was fine for a while played games well and all that jazz…then it started lagging really bad, and screen is shaky. please advise…

you may have accidentally set your cpu speed down. on the XMB press select and a menu will appear. change the cpu XMB and cpu GAME to the highest possibe (333/166). then run your games again and you will see the difference. if the menu does not pop of, you may have the vsh menu disable. to change the cpu now you will need to power off your psp, then hold the R button then turn on the psp while holding the R button until the recovery screen appears. scroll down to cpu speed and make the changes as noted above.
