4.00 M33 to have savestates and XMB recovery

m33 4.00 M33 to have savestates and XMB recovery Good news for those that are awaiting for news on 4.00 M33. Mathieulh has commented on a couple of great new features that are going to be introduced in this up and coming M33 custom firmware.

Custom Firmware 4.00 M33 will feature an XMB recovery mode, which will allow access to the recovery menu from within the PSP main menu / XMB. A feature which was first introduced in 3.95 GEN, now will be a part of M33 firmware. The second new and more exciting feature to be added is native savestate support. Users can save and load their progress at any given time while playing a UMD game. Much like what many common PSP emulators have. However it has not been decided yet if it will be part of the released 4.00 M33 firmware or released as an add-on / Plug-in.

Still no release date yet on 4.00 M33 but its looking good. Savestate support will be very handy indeed.

Yeah, im having trouble with grand theft auto :lbs. I know that sounds pathetic but in certain situations after finishing a mission i want to go to the safehouse but then i haf to go there and come back and its so far and takes 5 minutes… Plus if u die u lose all ure guns which i hate. So i haf to save after every mission. This will be useful indeed

Yes, nice work Team M33. Sony couldn’t add anything substantial in 4.00, so M33 has to step in and add it for us :)

you can not just upgrade 4.00 to 4.00m33, just not possible, but if you were able to make or buy a pandora’s battery then yes, theoretically if you had all the files on the magic memory stick of the pandora battery you would be able to upgrade to 4.00m33. of course you can make a pandora’s battery by yourself which is unrecommended for noobs or buy a pandora’s battery for around 50 dollars on ebay or amazon. Good Luck XD

    hey ThatGuy/ThatGut (lol).
if you deleted the magic mem stick files on your mem card, which i’m pretty sure is what happened, then when you put in your pandora’s battery it’ll come up with just a black screen. Just put the files back on and you should be fine.

@ kreative thinkr i as well have cfw and i figured out how to do it by going into forums reading stickys and such, not by filling up a response board with broken english requests. this response board or w.e you wanna call it is to discuss cfw 4.00m33 and its new features, not how to make pandoras batteries or magic sticks or pasting the same links on how to do so like 4 times thats all im saying.

Ok if any more idiots post about DAX being slow and to release 4.00 M33 now will find themselves a nice IP ban on top of their useless comments being removed. Making a CFW takes time, not to mention beta testing it and ironing out all the bugs etc. I would love to see you release a CFW in only a few days. Please just keep quite, stop moaning for 4.00 M33 and wait.

Also if you want to know how to get custom firmware or make a Pandora battery please use our forum or read up about it in our tutorial section. That’s what its there for! Comments here are meant to be related to 4.00 M33….
