3.80 M33 Custom PSP Firmware

Reports are coming in that the release of Custom Firmware 3.80 M33 is delayed. And might not be released today as originally planned. Apparently according to Mathieulh Dark_AleX and Team M33 are making some last minute adjustments to 3.80 M33 before putting it online to the world. You might have also noticed that Dark_AleX’s website was offline for some time due today due to increased traffic or updating of the site ready for the new custom firmware.

If you look at the official Dark_AleX site, you’ll see the layout has changed. I think gearing up for the soon to be released 3.80 M33.

This delay is reported to be anywhere from a few hours to a few days. We will keep you posted.

    Its a shame but hey for all we know it still COULD come out day! I’m sure the delay will be worth it. A massive bug fix or an extra feature.

    The DAX site is down again. I think the problem could be there server. And if the network update feature is using that same server…

    Guys, I got a question. I have a psp slim with m33 custom firmware and I was wondering, can I just update my firmware to this one once it’s out or do I need to use pandora again?

    To update you just put the update on your memory card. Other guys……. please help….! I thought that Dark Alex was French, saw some correspondece between hhim and some other dude online, think it was french. What do I know :-)

    Can i add the 3.80 CFW update to my psp if i have 3.60 m33? or do i need 3.71 m33?

    No.. You do not need following versions. just put the update in the UPDATE folder of the PSP folder. Do you kno what I’m talking about?

    in the folder PSP i dont have any folder called update. Should i make the folder?

    Disappointed that it hasn’t come out yet, but i’m sure Dark_Alex and his crew are working hard to get this out without any bugs so kudos to him :D

    I have a question about first time flashing.
    I have psp slim and original 3.80 firmware, but i want to play homebrew games, so… can i just download the CFW 3.80 M33 when its coming out and put on my psp (“\PSP\GAME” folder) and just install it, or i have to do something else to play homebrew games.

    im new to all this but dont get y u need a pandoras bet an magic mem stick to get custom firmware on my psp sony have tricked people in to goin to 3.80 knowing you cant get off it im stuck on original 3.80 an its cos of sony
