Royale has released PSP Maps version 0.7. Lots of new features and bug fixes, now features Google Maps and Yahoo Maps! hybrid views and virtual earth hill view.

Why internet phenomenon? Because it’s been going around a whole lot that the giant retailer will be selling a God of War PSP skin… a fugly one too.
Seriously, eewwwww, now this is supposed to come with a copy of the God of War game… I hope this is a prank. Also this post will now go down in history as the Ugh post. Yes, we do joke around now and then.

Image should be self-explanatory. Team Xecuter has released this specially designed piece of plastic that allows you to hold four additional memory sticks in your UMD tray. Unfortunately for many of us, it’s phat compatible only. Shipping starts in two weeks as of march 27th 2008.

Custom Firmware 3.90 M33-3 Released! DAX has released a small update to 3.90 M33. Improving the compatibility of the M33 no-umd driver. This can be downloaded and updated from your PSP, using the Network Update feature. Or use the download link below.
* March33 NO-UMD driver compatibility has increased to support games like Coded Arms, Patapon, Harvest Moon Innocent Life and probably others affected by same errors.

Seems Sony have let slip there will be a PSP-3000 model (another hardware revision) on there online manuals website. Images for the series 1000 (PSP fat) and 2000 series PSP Slim. Now we see a 3000 series. Need to see this for yourself? Here’s the link
Could this maybe be the long time rumoured Sony PSP Phone? Second thumb stick? Only Sony have the answers we seek. What do you think?

Back in mid 2007 AcidMods demonstrated the first dual analog stick modded PSP called the “Razor”. This design has now been released code named “Razor X” and is available for those that don’t mind a bit of soldiering under the PSP’s hood. This design allows users to assemble the second stick before soldering, making installation easier. You can pick this mod up over at CoolMods.co.uk

Sony has said to release the God Of War Psp bundle, for all of you god of war fans. Sadly it wont be released until June. It will have a deep red face plate and the back will also be red. This package will include God Of War chains of Olympus, and a UMD version of Superbad .It is going to be retailed at $199 (USD). This will be Sonys third PSP bundle.

All the hype is around the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII right now, so it would be quite appropriate for us (meaning me and our distinguished board of ghosts, I’m joking PSPFan) to remind you that the Square Enix Members North America website has launched. Fans of the game have the chance to win one of ten FF VII original soundtracks signed by none other than the great composer Takeharu Ishimoto. Also, you will get the ability to view official interviews with the creators (right now they only have a Q&A with director Hajime Tabata about the game’s development).
